Epilouge
Jessica's POV
I looked up at the bright sun, angry that is had to be so bright. I pulled my glasses down over my eyes, looking down.
"I used to love the sun," Hannah sighed, "you know what else I used to do? Tan."
I sighed, "I used to hate the sun, so to be honest it makes no difference."
Hannah growled, shaking her head. "that was bad for you. You weren't getting any Vitamin D."
I shrugged. "so, what are we doing here again?" I asked Vincent. He sighed.
"for the fifth time, we're here because a rouge vampire is on the loose. We've got to find it and said it to court."
"well sorry," I scowled, turning away and crossing my arms. He sighed, twisting his arm so we were holding hands. I smiled.
"you just can't resist, can you?"
He didn't say anything, and I just KNEW that if he were human he would of blushed. I thought about Vincent as a human. He was a fighter and acted like a brick wall, but I knew inside he was a little nerd.
I wonder...
"so where's this vampire?" Hannah asked, ruining the moment.
William grabbed the map from his back and read it quickly. "he's staying at the Royal Hotel," he told us.
"let's get moving," Hillary said, "all the girls here are staring. Oh, why didn't I just bring shorts to pretend?"
"because then you'd get a burn," Jacob told her, smiling, "I've got to say though, you didn't need the Royal clothes maker to make you a winter outfit. A dress would of been fine,"
Hillary scoffed, digging her shoes in the ground as we walked through central park. Several girls were out sunbathing, enjoying the warm weather. They were staring at us as if we were crazy, yet they seemed to have a different option about the boys. I grabbed Vincent's hand defensively, and he chucked.
"is someone a little jealous?" he asked, and when I turned his face was right next to mine. I yelped in surprise and fell back into the grass.
"Vincent!" I cried out, the wetness of the grass sinking into my skin. Thank god for no sense of cold...
William coughed, making us all stop what we were doing to listen. I quickly stood up, not too quickly because we were in public, and dusted the mud and grass stains of my black dress.
"ladies and gentleman, we're here." William stated, pointing to a large building with a red carpet and red ropes leading up to the door. My mouth gaped.
"a vampire on the run can afford to stay at a place like this?!" I asked, shocked.
Jacob smiled, "vampires are all extremely rich, Jessica. You'd think this place is a dump after living in the place you lived in."
I sighed. "still," I muttered, and just then a girl ran into me.
"oh, I'm so sorry-" she apologised, looking up into my eyes. I gasped, stepping back, and everyone else's eyes widened.
"Katy?"
