Yes, yes indeed, I will be ranting about Homework.

Look, homework is just the fucking spawn of satan himself so don't judge me for this rant.

Anyways, homework, I'm pretty sure we've all had to deal with this sack of shit. Teachers would teach a lesson that we have no interest in then decide that we should take that lesson home with us just for their own fun. Then when we don't do it, BOOM, grades just automatically drop.

I don't know if I'm the only one, but me not doing homework is literally the only reason why I have bad grades in school. It's only the second week in and I already have an F in a class, it's that bad guys.

I honestly don't know why teachers even give us homework. If it's to further our learning or however you say it then it's obviously not working. I've actually had this conversation with my sister, who had no idea about the whole thing, and she says that it's unfair also. Homework offers no academic value, unless you count stress and worrying an academic value then it has a lot of that.

It's even worse when teachers don't even collect it or check to make sure it's right. Some teachers at my school would just look at our papers to see if we did it and just give it back to us, not even caring if we did the work right or not. My own goddamn orchestra teacher just gives us practice sheets to write how many times we 'practiced' our instruments and I can just write a fake amount of minutes and he's just take it as it was. I don't even bring my viola home and he still thinks I'm practicing. Then when I stopped turning in those practice sheets, BOOM, grade went from A to F.

It's honestly sad that teachers are worried more about their students doing the homework instead of actually learning the damn thing. Then when a kid asks if they can just watch a movie instead of just doing more work or that something's happening at home or whatever, the school staff would just say 'We don't like to mix home life with school life'

THEN WHY THE FUCK DO YOU GIVE US HOMEWORK?! IT MAKES NO FUCKING SENSE! AND YOU EXPECT ME, A STUDENT, TO CALL YOU THE PEOPLE THAT ARE SUPPOSE TO TEACH ME?! MOST OF YOU GROWN UPS CAN'T EVEN OPERATE A GODDAMN COMPUTER!

It's just, *sighs* I don't understand school, it's honestly bad guys. Im disappointed with how school is these days and how they teach/punish the students. I think I'd rather drop out and work in McDonalds than finish it. Who wants to join me getting free sandwiches that makes people fat? Yay!

Anyways guys, I'm just gonna stop the rant here before I go on a whole rant about school and shit, that isn't until later on in the book, and trust me, it's gonna be a looooong rant. Feel free to leave your opinions in the comments, I'm interested on what other people have a say on this, do you actually like homework, do you hate it, do you think it's the literal spawn of lucifer himself?
