Yep, I will get hated on sooooo much. I finished my will before publishing this rant so, I'm somewhat prepared. So to anyone a fan of Sam Pepper, if you will murder me for speaking my mind, then you should not read this rant because I kinda wanna live to be 25+

So, for those who don't know Sam Pepper (I have never watched him or anything till now) he is a British YTer who posts mostly prank videos, and from looking at most of these pranks, they're mostly targeted at woman.

Now recently, Sam has uploaded a new 'prank' video that has gotten the attention of many YTers, and not good attention. This 'prank' was him having on a hoody that makes it look like he has two hands in his pocket while in reality he had his other hand inside the hoody, hidden, and then he would go around, ask a few women where the Apple store is, then pinch their bottoms when they weren't looking. Im pretty sure I made a lot of grammar mistakes but fuck it I'm ranting.

Now before you all go "It was a harmless prank, lol Vampy/Vivi stop being a hater, even the women were laughing about it", let me explain. Those women obviously seemed very uncomfortable about having a man, whom they just met, touch their bum with their 'hidden hand'. One woman even said that they didn't like that. The only reason they probably didn't freak out or anything is because they didn't want to seem, I don't know 'crazy' for yelling at a man in public, so they just played it off cool and acted 'okay' with it. They probably didn't even know they were being recorded.

Sam has made a lot of pranks like these, that honestly make me feel extremely uncomfortable. Such as a video I had saw just last night when I heard about the 'bum touching prank'. He was going around, asking women to make out with him, and making them do that. He even forced a woman to make out with him, when she obviously didn't want to do something like that. Then when I looked through the comments, people were calling those women 'sluts'. Honestly, Sam made them kiss him and that makes women sluts? Seriously Internet? Seriously?

Now some of you may say "It's just a harmless prank, god stop making such a big deal out of it." How would you feel, if a strange man came up to you, and asked to make out with you, then if you say no, he keeps pressuring you to do it? Or what if a man just came up to you and pinched your butt with his 'hidden hand'? And all of that was for a prank? Would you feel totally comfortable with a man doing that to you and then uploading it to the Internet for the whole world to see? Some people calling you a 'slut' for being pressured into making out with a man you just met? Would you still say it's just a 'harmless prank'?

And now, this is where a lot of you say "Jeez Vampy/Vivi, you're overreacting, god." I may be overreacting, but I believe that this time I should. There are little girls, children, out there, living in a world where if you freak out about a man touching you without your consent for a video, then you seem like a feminist freak, where if you say that this one YTer is a bad influence, you will seem like a hater. Young girls and even boys shouldn't live in a world like that. They should only worry about whether to put jelly or Nutella on their sandwich with peanut butter or what they should name their next new stuffed animal or action figure, they shouldn't worry about disliking a certain person in fear they'll get hated on or about making a big deal out of someone touching them inappropriately.

So, to those who still think it's wrong of me to be ranting about this, go and rewatching Sam Pepper's videos and focus on the women's reactions to his 'pranks'. Look at their actions, they look uncomfortable. After that, come back to me with your opinion. It could have changed, it could have not, but I know what my opinion is and I doubt anyone could change it.

I dislike Sam Pepper a lot, and I really hate how uncomfortable he makes women feel and I really hate how everyone thinks it's no big deal. If it were the other way around with men getting their bums punched or pressured to make out with strange women, I can assure you they would feel the same.

Pffffffft, okay, had to get that out of my system. Maybe I'm overreacting, maybe I'm not, but I really don't like Sam Pepper after learning this. I appreciate that other YTers feel the same about how it's not just some prank, it gives me some type of hope in humanity. I guess I'm done here, leave your opinions in the comments because no matter the opinion, I'm a bit interested on other people's point of views on this whole thing.
