Brilliant
A brilliant myriad of colour abides,
In all of the spring and the summertides,
From dazzling light on an azure blue sea,
Shining like sapphires, beautiful as can be.
The lush green of foliage, emerald or lime,
Dwell with the smell of the rosemary and thyme.
The buttery gold of the daffodils glow,
The grass on the mountains now bereft of snow,
Abound in their perfection , abundant with beauty,
Are brilliant, wonderful, and confounding to me.
