Lillia landed stealthily. So quiet that Leo didn't even realised that Lillia was there.

Lias: are you sure you're gonna do this? You may have to end up carving his heart out.

Lillia didn't realise Lias was talking to her even though the voice was loud and clear in her head.

She was that distracted at everything. Even at that point where she forgot she was still in her Reaper form. Not even showing the slightest hint of transforming back to human. Perhaps she wanted to scare Leo that that is what she is. Who she is. Or maybe she really just forgot.

She doesn't know what to say. What she could say. What she can say and not regret. Will Leo run away? Will he stay? Billions of questions just kept pounding on her head.

Lillia: Leo.

Leo turned around and to Lillia's surprise, he is not shocked. Not at Lillia's appearance. Not at the fact that Lillia just appeared behind him. His eyes are firm and serious. It was clear. He wants to know everything. He is ready. Even if it meant his life.

Leo: Tell me everything.

Lillia: This could mean you life. Maybe not now, but definitely in the future.

Leo: I believe in you. You swore to protect me.

Lillia: Lias.

Leo: Lias?

Lias: Sigh..you will still do it even if i say no.

Lillia: follow my lead.

Lias: My given name is Lias. Soul Of Noire.

Lillia: My name is Lillia Kavien. Contractor of the Soul of Noire, Lias.

Lillia puts out her hand, signalling Leo to give her his hand.

Leo: My name is Leo Andrich.

Lillia: this might hurt a lil bit.

Leo: Wait wha-

Lillia draws out a small dagger and slit her palm. Allowing her blood to slither down her fingers. She slit Leo's palm as well and placed her hand above his, allowing the blood to come together.

Lillia and Leo's blood mixed together and suspended itself mid-air. Lillia continued her hand gestures and the blood slipped into Leo's palm, into the cut Lillia had slit. Soon after, Leo's cut healed itself and left a scar as a reminder of his contract with Lillia.

Lillia: congrats. Now you will suffer.

Lias: Uhhh. *cough cough* can you hear me?

Leo: SOMETHINGS IN MY HEAD

Lias: Chill little boy. You're freaking out more than Lillia did.

Lillia: that's Lias. The soul whom I made a contract with.

Leo: Wait wait wait wait wait wait. So what i hear in my head is also what you hear in your head...?

Lillia: Yeah pretty much. It's a 3 way telepathy. Both of us can hear Lias. I can hear your thoughts and you can hear mine as well. Basically Lias is the connector that links our thoughts together.

Leo: that's kinda cool.

Lillia: Yeah. But now that Lias is part of your soul, you have dangers coming to you as well.

Leo: so do i have powers like you do to like transform and stuff? God I sound like a 3 year old.

Lillia: fortunately no. Unlike you, Lias and I have the same soul.We share the same soul Lias is merely part of your soul.

Leo: Wow... this is quite a bit to take in...

Lillia: You've only heard the tip of the glacier.

Leo: How about we sit in a cafe with nice drinks and food so we can talk while we eat so i have enough brains to take all this in.

Lillia: your treat?

Leo: sure

Lias: *cough*ItsADate*cough*

Leo: Shhhhhhh there are things not meant to be spelled out

Lillia: i can still hear both of you, ya know.

Leo&Lias: Oops.

The 2 and half of them went to the nearest cafe opposite school. They finally found an open seat after waiting 30 minutes or so. Lillia ordered some cake and while Leo ordered a sandwich.

Lillia: So where do you want me to start?

Leo: How did you become what you are...?

Lillia: I am a Reaper. The conditions of becoming a Reaper according to Lias is-

Lias: I wanna do this part!!! Firstly, you must be dead. Usually, your soul will be taken away but some very very very very rare cases such as Lillia, an element is triggered in the soul that invites a new soul which is me. And thus Lillia The Reaper is born.

Leo: Wait, so you died? You were dead?

Lillia: Yeah. I was murdered.

Leo: !!! BY WHO???

Lillia: My family name is Kavien. My parents are the biggest bosses internationally, globally, universally. It's not surprising their kids get targeted for ransom. I wasn't the only one though. They managed to find my sister somehow. And both of us became victims.

Leo: They found(?) your sis?

Lillia: she ran away from home. She's 20 this year if i'm not wrong.

Leo: so she's a Reaper as well?

Lillia: Yeah.

Leo: so what was your triggering element?

Lias: Lillia is the special among the special cases. She didn't have a strong will for anything. She was bored. Literally. She found life boring and seek for thrills and adventure. I guess you can say that's her strong feelings for. A strong feeling of boredom.

Leo: that works?

Lillia: it did for me.

Waiter comes to giver their food.

Leo: then what do you do? Save the earth or something?

Lillia: well as Reapers we just want to survive. Our main source of energy and life are souls. Basically humans.  By doing that, we are balancing the world in terms of darkness and light.  I hunt for corrupted souls. Souls that are condemned. Otherwise at the rate that it's going, the world will plunge to death itself. It will literally be colour-less.  Every living thing on earth will be devoured. So yeah, i have killed people for myself to survive.

Leo: woah... then how do you know if souls are corrupted?

Lias: Thats' where i come in. I can sense these corrupted souls. It follows the 7 sins. Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, Greed, Sloth.
Corruption level varies. Starting from the lowest, E,D,C,B,A,S,SS,SSS. When the corruption starts taking form, we call them Phantoms. Starting SS onwards, they become humans. Corrupted humans. We've just seen 1 SS just now and things don't fit.

Lillia: what don't fit?

Lias: remember that phantom just now? It was as if it was created by someone. Most likely who we saw afterwards.

Lillia: Dist?

Lias: yeah. More than that guy. That phantom was begging for mercy. I don't see that everyday.

Lillia: we'll see how this goes. It's possible there are people behind this.

Leo: Is it possible that they manipulate people into being phantoms?

Lias&Lillia: !!!

Lias: that is not impossible...

Lillia: we'll leave that for another day.

Lillia, Leo and Lias dismissed the topic for the day while they discussed about their common interests. Surprisingly for a billion old soul, Lias could not catch up about their topics of anime or whatsoever. Regardless, over this lunch "date", Leo and Lillia got to know each other more. Little did they know the impeding danger when Lillia's phone rang.
