"So what exactly are you doing?" I asked hanging upside down from the ceiling... again. Pidge waited a few moments before looking up at me.
"I'm extracting the c-"
"Hold on. Why don't we just pretend that I know what you're going to say, so you don't have to explain it to me in "normal speak"." She sighed, and scolded me from the ground.
"Come down here, and help me. I need a steady hand to dissect the infection from the castle's system." I hopped down from the ceiling, and slipped my hands into my pockets, grinning.
"You should know that I have anything, but a steady hand."
"Then can you at least use the powers you were ever so kindly given, from the nuclear explosion?" She asked, giving me a shit-eating grin. I sighed, nodding slowly. I crouched down next to the crystal.
"Run me through what to do."
"Okay, so you're going to want to find the main vocal point. The thing causing the infection." I searched through the crystal telepathically. Nothing was coming up until I reached the bottom of the crystal. I grinned as the purple light consumed my vision.
"Got it."
"Good. Now I need you to disable the light force by counteracting the LIFE force, don't get them mixed up, and then suffocate the light, and remove it telekinetically." She finished. I turned to her, and the light began to fade from my eyes.
"You want me to what now?"
"Can you please go be stupid somewhere that's away from me?" She sighed.
"Do you want my help or not, Kate?" She groaned, rubbing her eyes from under her glasses.
"Sorry. Okay, so do you still have the vocal point?" I turned back, finding it immediately, but this time it was moving.
"Better hurry. I guess it can move, and it's burrowing deeper into the crystal. I think it knows."
"Alright find the life force of the vocal point." I searched through it, the light burning my eyes.
"Found it."
"Counteract. Cut it in half." I sliced through it telekinetically, and the light flickered, but didn't go out. The burning began to hurt more.
"Hurry." I grumbled through gritted teeth.
"Suffocate the light, and then remove it." It took all my strength to get the light to blink out, lots of pushing down, and pulling it around. As soon as the light was gone I removed the "body", and Pidge put it in a case. I rubbed my eyes, trying not to think of what had just happened. I felt a kiss on my cheek and I perked up.
"Thanks (Y/N)."
