"Won't you love me."

Dion POV

  "OK so that club was lit." I said as we walked through the area in search of a good place to eat breakfast. "Maybe I should ask the locals." she said as she stopped one of the locals. Good thing we learned some Spanish beforehand. "OK so she said it's this spot called Ivy. They have the breakfast in town. She said we'd love it there as she goes there a lot." she said as I nodded my head. She pulled out her phone to get the location. "OK good. It's only a 5 minute walk from here." she said as we started to walk. 

  "Good afternoon senior and senorita! Welcome to Ivy!" The hostess greeted us. Off to a great start already. "Table for two?" she asked as we nodded our heads. "Right this way." she said as she grabbed two menus and lead the way. She lead us to the rooftop deck with our seats overlooking the city. "This is the perfect spot!" I exclaimed as she smiled. We placed our orders for our drinks as I took the opportunity to call my parents. "He's alive!" my pops said upon answer. "Here you go." I laughed. "Nice to know that you was worried about me though." I added.

  "I'm always worried about you. You know that." he said as I smiled again. "How are you liking Madrid so far." my mom questioned. "It's really beautiful out here! I'm in love. Ms. Mai hooked us up when it comes to the room." I exclaimed. "She did say that she wanted to make sure you guys had a good time. Glad you like it. Where's Dira?" she said as I panned the camera on Dira. "Hi mom!" she exclaimed as she waved. Now just me mad hype like that. She ended up snatching the phone from my hand and having a full conversation with them. I could've sworn I pay that bill. "Yea had to take him away. All he does is school, work, eat, sleep and repeat." I overheard her say as I rolled my eyes. 

  "So? I minds my business." I shot back. "Yeah but you never give yourself a break. Allat is fine but you still need you time." she said as I heard my parents agree. It be ya own family. I sat back in my chair silent because she did in fact have a point. They continued to have their conversation as I zoned out and took in the view from the city from here. This is so beautiful. "D! Dion!" I heard her yell as I returned my attention to her. I noticed my phone was back on my side and our waitress was standing there. "Oops. Looks like I was gone for a minute there." I laughed, clearly embarrassed. "You think?" Dira said as she and the waitress laughed. "Are you ready to order sir?" she asked as I nodded my head and placed my order. 

  "That sounds so good. Can I have what he's having? With sour cream on the potato." she asked as the waitress nodded. I ordered shrimp ajillo (garlic shrimp), in case you were wondering. "Oh and may I have a house salad?" she added as the waitress nodded her head before leaving. I knew I was eating some of hers so I didn't even bother to order one for me. Just as she was about to say something, her phone rung. "My baby!" her mom said upon answer, earning a smile from her. "I was gonna call you. Sorry." she apologized. I snatched the phone from her hand and started to talk to her mom. "Hey mom!" "My son! I'm glad you guys landed safe. You gonna keep her outta trouble right?" "Imma try to. You know little miss wild child over here loves to find it." "I do not!" she said as I looked at her. "Sometimes." she added as I laughed. 

  "No but we're gonna have a good time here that's for sure. I'll make sure she gets her classwork done too. I got you." "I'm so glad I have a responsible son." she smiled as Dira snatched the phone back. "And a beautiful daughter. Am I invisible or something?" she said causing me to laughed. That's her for you. "Love you too. I'll definitely send you pictures but you might not get them until late at night or early in the morning with the time difference here." she said before waving and hanging up. "So when does you classes start?" I asked her. "In a week so we finna do as much as we can before hand." she said as I nodded my head. Our waitress came back with our meals. "Oooo this looks so good! Thank you so much!" Dira exclaimed. 

  "You're so welcome and if you guys need anything else, please don't hesitate to call me." she said before leaving. Dira almost stabbed her plate when I popped her hand. "Don't you dare." I said as she placed her hand in mine as we blessed the food. "This is so good." she said as I smiled. I couldn't even formulate a sentence because I was too busy fucking said food up. "Whew that was good" I said rubbing my stomach. "No seriously." Dira added eating the last bit of her salad. "This cake though. Heaven." "Lemme get a piece." she asked as I slid the plate to her. "I should've ordered one when you did. This is so good." she said taking another bite before passing it back. "Yeah I'm gonna love it here." I said finishing it. 

  Our waiter came back with the checks as we left the money in it and placing a nice tip for her. "Thank you so much and welcome to Madrid." she waived as we walked away. "Where to next?" I asked her. "We're going paragliding!" she said jumping up and down as I looked at her like she was crazy. "Live a little baby boy. Let's face this challenge together." "OK motivational coach." I laughed as she called us a ride. "You must've booked this while we were waiting for our food." I said as she nodded her head. "I love a man who knows his woman." she said as I laughed. 

  "Welcome to Free Spirit!" the instructor said as we smiled. He proceeded to go over the rules and regulations before handing us a waiver to sign. If I die, I'm definitely asking God to send her to Hell. "You ready to go?" my instructor asked me with a smile. I had to think my life over for a moment. "Uh uh. You're going. He's ready." Dira answered for me. Ma'am we're about to jump off the edge of a cliff, please. Sighing, I nodded my head. You only live once. "On the count of three, we going to run off. I'm going to need you to kick your feet up like you're on a swing. Then you cam return them to resting position." he said as I nodded. 

  "See you at the bottom." Dira said giving me a thumbs up. This is why I need her in my life. Such a daredevil. Don't tell her I said that though. "One, two, three." my instructor said as we ran off the cliff. After about twenty seconds, he tapped me on  the shoulder. The view from here looks so beautiful. I was in awe as we floated in the air

  "This is amazing." I mumbled as we continued to glide. I'm kinda glad I decided to face my fears today. "See I told you would like it." Dira said as I landed. "Yeah, yeah, yeah. You were right or whatever." "Would you like to keep the footage?" "Yes!" "OK, well we'll send it to the dropbox, just be sure to download it before you leave." he said as I nodded my head. "That was so much fun!" "The mountain view was amazing!" I smiled. "Glad you liked it. We have to hurry." she said  as I looked at her confused. "You'll see. There's our ride." she said as a car pulled up. We really have to make some friends because these definitely will add up later. 

  The car stopped in front of a bus as I turned my attention to her. "Yep. We're getting a tour of Madrid." she smiled. "Why do I fell like you had all of this planned. "Maybe I did, maybe I didn't. Who knows?" she said shrugging her shoulders. We found some pretty interesting places to go as we toured the city.  "We're going to a few of them tomorrow." she said as I nodded. We took a bunch of pictures as well. "Now we get dressed." she said as I looked at her confused. "Reservations duh." she said as I nodded. "Don't duh me ugly." I said as we walked in the house. 

  "How do I look?" she asked as she gave me a twirl. "Like a bad bitch! Nothing more nothing less." "Chu heard!" she said as we high fived. My mom loved the pictures. Gonna say her and my dad about to book a flight. I think not." she said as I laughed. "You think it's funny but I will straight cancel this whole thing and go right back to school." "That's why it's funny because I know you really will do just that." she nodded her head. "Mines just said to keep sending them more. They wanted to see the city through my eyes." I added. "I wish mines would take that hint." she said as I snickered. "Oh this is nice!" I said as we stepped out the car. "I saw it on the bus. The best part is that there is a bar downstairs." she said as I smirked. 

  The view from up here was really nice and the faint music from downstairs only made it that much better. "The next person that catches your heart will be really lucky." she said snapping me out of my thoughts. "That was random." "No I'm serious. You really deserve to be loved. We not gonna talk about that last motherfucker because I still get pissed off. However, every time I look at you, I see hope. I see a person that deserves the world. I pray that the next one that comes around does just that." she said as I smiled. My last relationship, whew a whirlwind. I honestly do not want to relive that memory right now. Maybe at a later date. "I'm not in a rush, when it comes, it comes. I just want to enjoy myself for now. Joey definitely isn't an option." I said as she laughed. 

  "Oh I been knew that. I just like messing with you." she said as I shook my head. The waitress came and took our orders. "We getting in our next relationship at the same time. We need to compare notes." she said as I laughed. "It's a deal." I said before eating, well attempting to. She popped my hand. "Now you was getting on me for the past few days and you wanna act brand new." she said with her hand out. "Rude" I said as I rested my hand on hers. We said grace before eating our food. Once we was done, we paid our tab and headed downstairs. Went to get our drinks. "  Get on down (Get on) if you bad enough (Bad enough). You and all your friends hopped out that Bentley truck (Bentley, yeah)." Don Toliver started to sing as Dira instantly got hype.

  She quickly downed her drink and drug me to the floor. " You doin' your thing, baby, live it up (Live it up). You showin' out and you don't give a fuck (Yeah)." he continued as my baby was doing just that. I raised one of her arms in the air as she continued to twerk on me. We continued to dance until the song transitioned to Boy Down by Dawn X Aubrey (my DK girls). "I be pimping on the champagne. Funky fitted look like I'm running for a campaign." I sung.  Out the corner of my eye, I could see a guy looking at me. "He wanna catch my wave, no surfing 'til my bills paid" I repeated as I winked at him. "Talk ya shit baby boy." Dira said as I continued to slow whine to the song. 

  "That song will always bring out the swag version of you." she said as I smiled. I turned around to see the guy from earlier getting a little closer to us. Cool. Ungodly hour came on next. Demon time! "Hit me with your eyes, I ain't ever seen that kind of view. You walking over here. The way it down, that's when I knew." I said to him as he came over. I continued to dance. "May I have this dance?" he asked as I shot a quick glance at Dira. She was already dancing with someone else. Turning back to him, I nodded my head yes. "You know that I, I heard it all before. You're hesitant but you could give me more." I said swaying my hips as he caught the hint. "I know you like to play those silly games. When you're done, call my name." I said pushing him off me. 

  "Let me ask you this, all you giving all that you could give?" Chole sung as I raised my eyebrow while dancing. He didn't return after that, I guess I scared him. I continued to dance alone. "When you don't have to think about it about it, love me at the ungodly hour." the chorus chimed as I felt the familiar feeling around my waist. "Not even twice." he whispered in my ear as we continued to dance. He raised one of my arms and twirled me around as the song rode out.

  "You're not a bad partner." I said as he smiled. "Thanks. I can say the same about you. Can I buy you a drink?" he asked as I nodded my head. We continued to make small talk before Dira walked over. "You was killing shi- Oh hello." she said to him. "Dira this is..." I said pausing before realizing I never got his name. "Carlo. I'm Carlo. Nice to meet you Dira." he said smiling. "Oh a gentleman. Nice to meet you as well." she said sending me a knowing look on the low. If she don't get her ass on. "I was just letting you know that I will be right here." she said pointing to a area a little further from where we were. There was a guy sitting there. He sent us a wave as I sent one back. "Text me when you're ready to go." she said holding her phone up as I knew that meant something else. 

  "It was nice meeting you Carlo." she said before meeting. "Seeing you two dance earlier, I thought you were together." he said as I laughed. "Nah that's my best friend. I get why you thought that though." I said as he laughed. A nearby strobe light flashed over his face, exposing the gap in his teeth. I'm a sucker for those. It's cute and small too. "Yeah you guys were perfectly in sync. What brings you here? Vacation?" he said. "For me yeah. My friend is here for school. She brought me along because she felt like I needed a break." I laughed. "A workaholic huh?" "Something like that." "That's dope but I definitely think people need to take breaks every once in and while and just live a little you know?" I really didn't but was starting to now.

  "Yeah, it's sinking in with me now." "There we go. Feeling relaxed already huh?" he asked as I laughed. "Shut up." I said leaning on him. "You came here by yourself?" "Nah. actually the guy your friend is with is my friend." he said as I laughed. "No way." "Yup." "Is he a good guy?" I asked with a hint of seriousness. "Yup he's pretty chill. He could ask you the same though." "Me? Definitely won't have to worry about me." I responded as he rubbed his chin. We continued to make conversation well through the night before Dira texted me and told me she was ready to go. "Welp looks like my partner in crime is ready to go so that's my cue." I said as I got up. I started to walk away. 

  "Wait." he said grabbing my arm. "I was really enjoying the time we spent together and was wondering if I could get your number or maybe hope to see you again?" he asked as I smiled. "Sure I said holding my hand out for his phone. I saved my number in it as he pulled me in for a hug. "You have a good night." he simply said. Wait did he always smell this good? "Thanks. You get home safe." I said to him as I waved. "You two hit it off well." Dira said as she latched on my arm. "Don't start. Let's go." I laughed as we walked out. While we was in the car, I got a text from a random number. 'This is Carlo' it simply said as I smiled. I didn't respond back though. Part of the plan. 

  Maybe a break isn't so bad after all.
