"Love to love you."

Dion POV

  "You've been looking at me like that for the past 5 minutes. What's up?" Carlo asked laughing. It was so cute seeing him flip back in forth through the menu. "Nothing. Nothing at all." I laughed. He was about to say something but was interrupted by the waitress taking our orders. I looked up from the menu to see him looking at me. "What?" I said with a confused face.

  "Nothing. Nothing at all." He said mimicking me. "Very funny." I said before breaking out in a laugh. I smiled at him. "You have a nice smile." he said as I looked down. "Hey, did I say something wrong?" he said tilting my face back up. "Not at all. It's been a minute since I've been complimented. That's all." "Really? Look at you. You deserve to be complimented." I simply smiled as his thumb caressed my  face. We were interrupted by the waitress bringing our food. "That looks good. I should've gotten that instead." I said as I admired his plate. It made mine look bland. 

  "You can have some if you want. Yours look good too." he said as I smiled. He held his hand out as I looked at him in surprise. "What? You don't think we bless our food before we eat?" "I don't think anything to be honest." I said placing my hand in his as he smiled. After we finished blessing our food, we started to eat. "You still want some?" he asked as I nodded my head. I watched as his fork gently wrapped swept up the noodles and pierced a piece of meat before carefully hovering it in the air, cupping it with his hand. Happily, I leaned over to meet him halfway. 

  "The plane is now ready to land." he said as I burst out laughing. "You are so childish." I laughed as I opened my mouth. "That is so good! I said as he smiled. "I knew you would like it." he said as I flagged him. We continued to have casual conversation as we ate. "Can I have some?" he asked as I smiled. "Say ah." I said as he laughed "Now who's childish?" he retorted as I shoved the food in his mouth. "Still you." I said with my tongue out. He just shook his head and laughed. Once we were done, he paid for the food as we said our good night's to the waitress. He wrapped his arm around me as we walked. 

  "I guess you could say our first date was a success." I said as he laughed. "You thought this was a date?" he asked as I stopped and looked at him. "You caught me. Though I really have something else planned." he said as I raised my eye brow. "Nope I'm not telling you." he said as he smiled. Something I've come to enjoy. "Not even a hint?" I said as he laughed. "Nope. You'll just have to wait and see." he said as he laughed. "I  can't even get a hint?" I said turning towards him. "Nope. Just be ready." he smirked. "that doesn't help me whatsoever but OK." "As we get closer to the day, I'll tell you what exactly what to wear." "You better not be last minute either." I said earning a laugh from him. 

  "It won't." he winked at me. I just shook my head as we continued to walk. "It's a beautiful night out isn't it?" he said looking up at the sky as we walked. "Yes it is. The weather is nice as well. Not to warm or cold, just-" "Perfect." he said completing my sentence as I blushed and turned my attention elsewhere, earning a laugh from him. I started to play with his fingers until he closed them, locking mine with his. "Here comes the worst part." he said as I looked at him confused until I saw that we were right in front of my place. I looked up to see him with a sad expression on his face. "Hey, don't be like that. You still have to take me on a date remember? " I said as I pulled him in for a hug.

  "Can always count on you to cheer me up." he said as as I smiled. "Get home safe sir." "Don't I always?" he said as I shook my head no. "I wouldn't know." I said waving my phone around. "Oh you want my number. I was actually waiting on you." he laughed as he walked back. I handed him my phone and watched him put his number in. I raised my eyebrow in confusion when I saw the flash go off. "Needed a good contact photo for when I call." he said as I laughed. He was right though. He handed me my phone back as he pulled me in for a hug. "You not gonna hand me yours?" I asked confused. "I'm hoping that you'll actually use it." he said with a smile. I just gazed at him as he smiled back at me. Adorable self. 

  "Lemme let you go before we get stuck." "I wouldn't mind." he said not breaking contact. "Go ahead silly." I said attempting to release from him. I said attempting because my body hasn't registered said command. "I though you were going to let me go." he said as I laughed because I know he was enjoying this. "I tried." I laughed. "So silly. Go ahead in." he said letting me go. I felt a little sad. "I'm looking forward to you texting me." he said walking back. "Be safe!" I yelled as he waved before turning around. I made my way into the building. "You're finally back huh?" Dira said walking in the living room, scaring me. "I though you ass would've been sleep." "Nope. Had to make sure you were safe and didn't do anything fast." she said as I burst out laughing. 

  "Ma'am it's too late for all that and besides, you're in no position to talk." I laughed as I took my shoes off before sitting in the chair next to her. "Guess what?""Hm?" "You're supposed to guess fool?" "D, It's late, which means all the workers in my brain went home. It's only a few left. Don't make them work overtime." I said as she shook her head laughing. "Joaquin gave me his number." she squealed as I broke into a smile. "So that's who has you all in your phone." I said as she mushed me. "Well tag me in coach because Carlo gave me his." her eye went wide?! "Did you use it?!" I shook my head no. 

  "Well what are you waiting for? Text him." "Shut up fool I will. He literally just left. I gotta give him some time to get home. I don't know how far he even lives from here. Imma shower and then text him." I said walking away before her ass had something to say. Once I finished, I returned back to the living room with her. 'I hope you made it home safe' I texted. "Happy?" I said showing her the phone. "Awww!" she said putting her face in her hands. "So cute. Look at his contact photo. You took that?" "No, he did himself. I like it." I smiled. She just looked at me with the same expression. Shortly after that, his picture flashed across my screen. 

  "Hello?" "I'm home safe. I was going to text you back but where's the fun in that?" "You are so silly." I laughed. "That's a good thing right?" "Very good thing. I like that." I said as I heard him breathe a sigh of relief. "So what are you about to get into?" I asked. "Well I think I'll just heat something quick up and watch some TV since I'm here alone." he laughed. He thinks he so slick. "You?" "Well maybe the same except that food part. Don't feel like making anything. Might get some pudding instead. I figure it out once my stomach starts rumbling." I laughed. "Well I could've made you something." "You didn't say that when you was here." I laughed.  "Next time I won't hesitate. I'll just throw you over my shoulder and take you home." "I would like that." "I'm going to hold you to that." I felt someone staring at me, so I turned to see Dira grinning from ear to ear. 

  'Y'all are so cute.' she mouthed as I chuckled again. "I have a date to plan so I have to finish putting things together. Can I text or call you tomorrow?" he asked as I smiled. "Sure.  Any time, wait- scratch that, you know my working hours so any time after that. Wait, I don't know what time you'll be at the club so-" "Dion, I got it." he laughed. "I'll just text you first and then if we're able to, I'll call you. I still need a contact photo though." "I can send you one right now." "No. I need a fresh one. Maybe when I take you out." he said as I smirked. "Well that sounds good too. Bet. Good night handsome." "Good night baby." he said earning another smile from me as I hung up. "So damn adorable!" Dira yelled as I laughed. 

  "You guys are going on a date?! Do you need to me to help you pack, line ya hair up, do-" "Aht aht. I'm good and besides he hasn't told me the dress code so I don't even have and idea of what to wear." I said shrugging. "OK but I still can give you a fresh line up though." "You got clippers?" "Always carry them when we go somewhere. It's a must." she said as I laughed. "Well lets get to it then." I said as we got up and walked towards the bathroom. 

A Few Days Later.  

  "Hey." "What are you doing this weekend?" Carlo asked as I retrieved my food from the microwave. "Nothing that I know of. Why what's up?" "Perfect time for our date don't you think?" he said as I damn near choked on my food. "Ye-yeah. I'm game. What's the dress code?" "Beach ready. I'll pick you up at 6." He said as I took all the information in. I started to say something but he told me he was getting dressed to go to work. "Wait, when are we going?" "Tomorrow. I'll text you later." he said before hanging up. This man is something. 

  Sighing, I continued to eat my lunch before returning to work. For the remainder of the day, I scrolled through my mind trying to find the appropriate outfit for tomorrow. "Awesome job today friend. I must say, every since you started here, our business has been taking off. I never seen so many people here. Thank you so much." Raul said hugging me. "Hey don't thank me, the potential was always there. Just helped bring it out that's all." I laughed. I said my good nights to the rest of the staff as I made my way home. "You look happy today." Dira said as I walked through the door. "Shut it." I said sticking my tongue out. 

  I went straight to my room and pulled out some clothes. "OK he said beach ready so lets see what I can find." I said as I pulled out a few shirts and shorts. "These look good but what if he wants to get in the water? They can't afford to get wet." I said removing said outfit. After about 20 minutes of mixing and matching, I gave up and took a seat on the floor. "The outfit is right there fool." Dira laughed as she stood by the door. "Thank you." "No problem. Your first date in a long time, how do you feel?" "Nervous as hell but excited nonetheless." "Well I'm so happy for you! My baby!" she said hugging me. I laughed because I knew how much this meant to her. "Well before I get too tired, let's help you find yours." I said getting up. I took a look back at the pile of clothes and decided to put them up once I was done. 

 The Next Day 

  "You make sure my girl comes back in once peice! Wrap it up!" I yelled to Dira and Joaquin. "Go get dressed! Embarrassing me." Dira laughed as she waved while he pulled off. I decided to take a quick shower. Gotta make sure I smell really good for him. Once I was done, I decided to get dressed. I was in the midst of putting my slides on when my phone rang. "Good evening." "Hi handsome. You ready to go?" Carlo asked as I did a double take in the mirror. "Yep." I said smiling. "Cool. Send me your address and I'll come and pick you up." he said as I did just that before hanging up. I spent the rest of the time sitting on the couch twiddling with my thumbs. 

  He texted me a little later saying he was outside. 'Do not embarrass yourself D. Just go with the flow.' I mentally coached myself as I grabbed my phone and keys before heading out the door. I walked down to see him playing on his phone while leaning against what I'm assuming was his car. "You look amazing." "Stop lying to me." I said as he pulled me in for a hug. "I wouldn't lie to you." he said as he tightened the embrace, causing me to smile. "Let's go." he said releasing me as my smile dropped a little, I didn't want him to let go. I watched as he opened my door before getting in on the opposite side. "I didn't know you had a car." I blurted. "Yeah I just don't like driving it as much and besides, it would've gave me less time with you." he said as I nodded in agreement. 

  "Guess you're right then. " I smiled as I got in. The ride was a silent but comfortable one. Every now and then, I would sneak glances at him. This time he made a silly face, causing me to burst out in laughter. "What ya looking at?" he asked. "Nothing." I chuckled. Smiling, he reached for my hand. Once he found it, he intertwined ours as he continued to drive.  A beautiful beach was coming into view, causing a smile to instantly form on my face. It's the simple things for me. "I figured a beach date would be nice." he said once we came to a stop. Smiling, I watched as he grabbed some things from the trunk before coming to my side and opening my door. 

  "After you." he said as he gestured towards the beach. "Our spot is over here." he said pointing to a huge umbrella. He reached for my hand as we walked to said area. "I hope you like it." he said as it revealed a neatly laid out blanket. There were some beach essentials spread out along with a basket. I watched as he placed another basket down before helping me get settled. "I brought sunscreen, you want me to put some on you?" he asked as I nodded. I removed my shirt and slides and stood up. I slightly shivered as I felt the mist make contact with my body. I relaxed when I felt his warm hands massage my body, love that for me. Once he finished, we stood there for a minute. He leaned in to kiss me but I mushed him and ran towards the water. 

  To be quite honest, this was needed. Feeling the cool water against my skin reminded me how much I needed this. Surprisingly, this was my first time at the beach since we've been here. I looked back to see him watching me with a smile on his face. Once I finished, I returned to him. "Here you go." he said wrapping me up in a towel. "Thank you." I smiled. "You hungry?" he asked as I nodded. He opened one of the baskets revealing an assortment of food. "I didn't know what you wanted so I just grabbed a few things." he said nervously. "You did good. Some of these are my favorites." I said grabbing one of the containers of pasta and a sandwich. "Want some?" I asked as he nodded. 

  Swirling some pasta, I began to feed him. I watched as he seductively ate his piece. I couldn't lie, he looked so damn good. After he ate his piece, I caressed his chin as he kept his gaze on me. "That was good." he said causing me to laugh. We continued to eat and talk, getting to know more and more about each other as we enjoyed the view. "Come on. We're going for a swim." I said pulling him up from his spot. We played in the water like big ass kids. He lifted me up in the air and spun me around like this was the titanic. Everything went by so fast. Once we were phone, we returned to our spot. I grabbed my phone and started taking pictures of the view.

  "Enjoying yourself?" he said as I turned around, accidently taking a picture of him:

  Damn!

  I didn't say anything, which cause him to raise his eyebrow in confusion. Instead, I just crawled over to him as kissed him.  It was hard to resist him honestly. Feeling his arm wrap around my neck and waist made me put a little more passion into said kiss. "You didn't answer the question." he laughed as he pulled back, not releasing me. "Sorry. Yes I am. Thank you bringing me. I forgot how much I needed this. Being a workaholic is no fun when you miss things like this. Thank you for reminding me to live a little." I smiled. "Glad I could do that for you." he responded. "Uh Dion?" he said sounding nervous. "Hm?" "I was wondering, could we make this excl- I mean would you be my boyfriend?" he said so flustered. 

  I gotta admit, watching him stumble over his words was adorable. Smiling, I leaned down and kissed him. "Yes." I said breaking the kiss to give him his proper answer. Eagerly, he pulled me back down to him to continue our session. His hands roamed down to my lower back as mine stayed around his neck. I wouldn't dare go for the pants because I'm quite sure he is commando. "I'm hungry." I groaned. "OK baby." he said laughing. He picked me up as he carried me back to our spot. I didn't even notice that we moved this far. He opened the second box, revealing some frozen desserts. Ice was laced around them keeping them cold. I sat on his lap facing him as we fed each other the treats. "What's wrong?" I asked as he looked at me.

  "You got something right there." he said pointing to my lip. "I'll get it." he stated as he kissed me. "You think you're so slick." I said as he laughed. I pulled him towards me as we continued to kiss. "I don't think I'll ever get tired of this." he said laughing.  "Let me see that picture you took of me earlier." he said as I reached over for my phone and showed him. "You're good with the camera. Might have to hire you as my cameraman." he said as I mushed him. He returned his head with a pout. "Aww I'm sorry." I said kissing him. Smiling, we went back to feeding each other. I took a minute to admire him. "You're so handsome." "Thank you. I can say the same for you. I'm really lucky." he smiled. 

  I caressed his face again as he continued to smile. "I like when you do this." he said as I chuckled. Wasn't like I couldn't tell. "You ready to go?" he asked as I nodded my head. I helped him clean up as we started to walk, with him holding my waist. "Thank you so much for today, I really enjoyed it." I said as he smiled. "I'm glad you did. Here's to a good evening and many more." he said grabbing my hand and kissing it. He placed some towels down on the seats before we got in the car. The ride back was a nice and quiet one. 

  I actually have a boyfriend now. Wow.
