Ahaha, hi everyone. So, I just got back from EGX, and oh good God... it was pretty damn brilliant. So for those of you who don't know what EGX is, it's a huge gaming convention in the UK (possibly the biggest, actually), and I went for the day with my irl squad. I'd love to know if any of you guys went too, maybe I even saw you if you did go. I was wearing black clothes and a black mask, as usual. The tall guy. XD

Aaaanyway, the event was great, it was packed with previews, cosplays, people, the usual. There were YouTubers, (including Bird Keeper Toby who I was pretty surprised to see XD), the eSports League was there, there were pro players from a variety of games, Sony was there, VR was there, you know how it is. But Nintendo was there too, and oh boy.

Nintendo was the crown jewel of the event in my opinion. Why? Because they just so happened to bring along the new Smash Bros Ultimate as well Pokémon Let's Go Eevee and Let's Go Pikachu.

Needless to say. I played them both. And I am very. Happy. About it. XD

Yeah, a lot of the new Smash was played there, and I believe it was streamed on Twitch, too. I'm not as big a fan of Smash as others are, but I did play a bit of that, which was pretty great, but I was DYING to play the new Pokémon games and... I still can't believe that I actually did. XD The queue was two hours long for Pokémon when I got there, but did I queue anyway?

You bet your ass I did. XD

It wasn't as bad as it sounds, I was watching the Splatoon quarter finals (I think they were?) Live while I slowly edged through a queue of about... 80 people XD. And I'm fairly certain that was streamed too. So if anyone was watching that live, I was like 15 metres from where the players were. XD

But jeez, yeah, point is, I've actually played the new Pokémon games which are due to come out later this year, and I'm so hyper about it, omg >< '

But yeah... jeez, it was awesome. So I got to play all that, I actually played Overwatch with my friends in LAN in front of an audience for a while which was kinda cool, bought some stuff in what my friends affectionately dubbed 'the weeb section', and just... yeah. It was really, really great.

Heh. And those are my friends I went with. XD

I'm the one right at the back there, with the mask >w< (my hair looks weird though because of the headset I've got on... it's usually a lot messier than that). That was us playing Overwatch together again. Hehe. Good times.

And that's basically it. It was a great time, played great games, and I'm hyped to own the full versions sometime in the future. Loads of good stuff coming out in 2019. Anyway, thank you all so much for reading this one, just thought I'd talk a bit about the event and what was there, because hehe, I felt like I had to at tell you about the Pokémon, at least.
