Late that night, after the dinner fiasco had been resolved, Charity snuck out of the house, Ta'lali following her.
" I can't believe you." She hissed.
Ta'lali flinched away, her ragged nails digging into her arm.
" I'm sorry... but lying is a sin."
Charity was about to respond when she saw something that made her blood boil.
A demon- antlers still short- was walking down the path towards her.
Her pink skin shone under the street lamps, and Charity could see bite marks around her neck.
Ta'lali froze.
" Lith! Run!" She screamed.
Lith- being deaf- could only tilt her head in confusion as Charity stormed towards her.
Charity grabbed the girl's horn and leaned in close, giving her a whiff of moldering breath.
" You are a sinner. I will cleanse you."
Lith hissed and writhed, her struggling growing more frantic when she saw the stun gun in Charity's trembling hands.
" Shhhh..." Charity whispered.
" This'll be easier if you don't struggle."
Lith grabbed Charity's antler-grasping arm in her mouth and bit down, her serrated teeth rending flesh.
Charity screamed, and Ta'lali could only watch, horrified, as Charity pushed the stun gun into Lith's tender belly and pulled the trigger.

Unfortunately for Charity- Lith was no succubus. She was a Legion Locust, capable of feeding on anything.
Unfortunately for Lith- she couldn't stand the electricity.  She fell to the ground, convulsing, but not yet unconscious.
The woods around them started to buzz angrily, and Charity realized her mistake a second before she was surrounded.
Ta'lali ran before the Legion Locusts could catch her, leaving Charity to their questionable mercy.
