7- Axe and Dagger
Nikki Angel Marsh and Sage Christine Hill.
They were different. For generations their families traveled from village to village until their parents sent them off to help fulfill the legend's prophecy. You see, they were descendants of two of the heroes that had sacrificed themselves 1000 years ago. For some reason, the past generations had always had male children there were a few female but they usually didn't marry and ended up dying alone. That's how they still both had the same last name as their ancestors.
Their ancestors were none other than the late Keeper of the Katana and late Keeper of the Bo Staff. Graham Preston Hill and Miles Oliver Marsh.
The two girls were sent off to a secret location when they were both trained with their weapons. Nikki had an axe. It was lethal but it wouldn't stop the Waru like the six weapons that had been in hiding for years. It was the same for Sage's shiny and sharp dagger.
The place they were sent to was a grey building. It was still very strong and only hard to look at from the outside. The inside was actually pretty put together. There were beds and a kitchen stored with food. It was just like it was before the Waru took over.
The girls had their peace until one day a boy came into the room they were told that the boys from the legend would appear from. He had the Sai clutched into both of his hands tightly. Nikki and Sage brought him to the room with six beds and knew they had to wait for the next to come.
One by one they came. After the first boy, a brunet boy with the bow came. Then a dirty blond with the tonfa. A bleached blond came next with the nunchucks. Then a boy with the katana came.
Nikki watched as her best friend stared at the sword the boy had brought with him. She waited until she was ready and lifted him up and to the room with the others. Sage did the same when Nikki wanted to stare at the Bo Staff, although she knew that wasn't all she was staring at.
"You like him." She smirked.
"No I don't." Nikki bit her lip as they cared the boy to the room with the others.
"Of course you do. Come on, you're my best friend. I know everything about you, especially when you start having a crush on a guy. Remember Ed?" Sage rolled her eyes
"Ugh, fine. When do you think they're gonna wake up?" Nikki asked.
"Uh, hopefully soon. We've been waiting for basically our entire lives." Sage shrugged.
Suddenly a Hispanic boy sat up in his bed and looked around the room with wide eyes.
"Ooo. Sage. You're magical." Nikki laughed and they both walked up to the boy.
"Wh-who the heck are you?" The boy stuttered.
"Oh relax. My name's Nikki, this is Sage. How 'bout you Sai?" Nikki raised a brow.
"Uh, Gabe. I'm Gabe. Why'd you call me Sai? Where am I?" Gabe asked looking around and noticing the other passed out boys.
"Well Gabe. You're the Keeper of the Sai. Didn't the magical writing tell you that? And you're here because of the legend. Which is in fact real. Surprise." Sage said sarcastically.
"Yeah sure, that's funny, really funny. Yeah, now tell me why I'm really here." Gabe challenged
"Uh, excuse me?" The three turned to see that a brunet was up, the one with the bow.
"Hey! Archer is up. How ya doing?" Nikki laughed which made the boy even more confused.
"What? My name's David. Is the legend coming true? Why am I here? I can't be one of the heroes." David said in panic.
"Oh don't tell me you believe in that stupid myth." Gabe snorted.
"Excuse me?! Stupid myth? I'll have you know that my very great grandfather died to try to help the future generations." Sage argued, the she threw a dagger into the wall, right where the Asian boy was about to walk.
"Are you crazy!? Who the heck are you guys anyways!?" The boy who had woken up to fighting yelled at the girl who threw the sharp object at him
"What the frick?" The African-American boy said
"What's going on?" A dirty blond with wide-eyes asked
"Huh?" A blond tensed as he saw the others.
"NO ONE LEAVES THIS FUCKING ROOM UNTIL WE EXPLAIN PROPERLY!" Nikki yelled above everybody
With that everyone shut up and listened to the taller girl.
"Okay, hello. Yes, you are all keepers. Do not interrupt me unless your name is Sage." She glared at the dirty blond who opened his mouth to protest but quickly shut it. "Good boy. Now, raise your hand if you actually believed in the legend before you were brought here."
The Asian boy raised his hand and the brunet soon followed in suit.
"Ok, now who believes in it now?" Sage asked.
Along with the other two the dark skinned boy and the dirty blond raised their hands.
"Good, now tell us. Why do you two not believe yet?" Nikki asked the bleached blond and the Hispanic.
"It's stupid." Gabe sniffed.
"I just don't." The blond shrugged.
"Alright. Well then. My name is Nikki Marsh and this is my best friend and fellow, uh, I guess you could call us trainers, Sage Hill. Now tell us your names, first and last or my friend here will stab you in the leg. She'll do it, don't doubt her." Nikki said motioning to Sage, who had taken her dagger out of the wall and was twirling it in her hand. "Gabe, why don't you go first?"
"I'm Gabriel Morales. Gabe." Gabe mumbled
"David Scarzone." David said, staring at his lap.
"William Behlendorf. Will for short."
"Dana Vaughns the second."
"Cole, uh, Cole Pendery."
"Dalton Rapattoni."
"Great, now that we know names let's tell a nice, long story."

Well, good news!
I've decided that I'll actually start updating this story now because ThatOne5er is impatient! You can thank her.
I'll probably alternate between TDR and this but I might probably update TDR more often.
So yeah, there you go.
