Wingkit shifted beside his siblings and mother. He couldn't sleep. He sat up pushing his sister off his tail. He walked twords the entrance.
"Wingkit" he heard someone whisper his name. He looked behind him but he couldn't see anybody calling him. He shrugged and turned back to the entrance.
He walked trough the lichen and stared at the sky. Then he heard a rustle. He looked at the camp entrance where a cat was sitting.
"He must be guarding the entrance." He thought. He saw that the cat didn't notice the rustle. He looked around the camp. He didn't see anything.
Then he heard a cat whisper his name again. He looked around again. He saw a cat slip behind the elders den.
He walked twords it. He peeked and saw the cat go through a hole in the back. He followed. "What am I doing. It's a cat I don't recognize and I'm heading out of camp." He sat and thought watching the cat. He shrugged and followed the cat.
The cat slipped trough a hole in a tree. He followed and did the same. He Walked trough the tunnel. He walked but tripped over a root in the ground. He fell and hit his head against the wall of the tunnel.

He woke to see no stars just lots of trees. It was musky and dark. The floor and trees were slimy.
"Where am I?" He thought. He saw eyes glint in the dark. "H-hello?" He stuttered as he saw the cat staring at him.
"Come here kit." He heard as he saw a tail beckon him over. He just stood there. "Fine I'll come over there then." The cat spat. He saw the dark cat slowly slide out of the trees.
He saw his figure was tall yet very skinny. His pelt was very dark. " umm where am I?" Wingkit asked the dark cat. "Your in starclan can't you tell." Wingkit couldn't believe it. He couldn't be. It's too ..... Dark.
"I - I can't be." Wingkit whispered. The strange cat walked closer. "Why can't you?" The cat asked. "It's too dark. Who are you." The cat came closer. He smirked. "Train with us kit. We can make you better than your siblings. You will be better than any of your clanmates."
Wingkit thought about the offer. He shook his head. "This has to be a bad place. I heard that starclan has stars." He thought "I asked you who you were." Wingkit spat.
The cat sat and smirked. "I'm Darktail. You will join us or you will regret not joining us kit." Spat as he unsheathed his claws.
Wingkit looked scared. He wondered what this Darktail ment by "regret". " what so you mean by regret? what are you going to do?" Darktail just smiled. " ill put a curse on you. you wont like this curse. everything you ever loved will be gone. like I said kit. join us or not." Wingkit shivered. he didn't want to join. but he didn't want to everyone he loved to die.

" No. " wingkit said. darktail looked astonished. "What? fine kit. you wanna not join , then say goodbye to everyone you ever loved kit." wingkit thought he made the biggest mistake of his life. darktail came closer. wingkit heard noises and saw more cats come out of the trees and bushes.

wingkit backed away. "alright boys. hold him down." as the cats came closer wingkit found he couldn't move. he was scared. the cats came closer. next thing he knew, the cats had pinned him down. darktail started chanting random words. then out of no where an cat with stars in its fur came bolting out of the trees. darktail hurried his chanting and stopped. lightning shot through the air and almost hit wingkit . the cat with stars in its fur looked me with worry.

then the cat looked up t the sky and yowled " STARCLAN, ATTACK." more cats with stars in there fur came out of the trees and bushes. they started attacking the dark cats. yowls and screeches where heard. blood and fur was everywhere. wingkit felt his feet leave the ground. He looked up to see a she-cat carrying him. " where are we going?" he asked the she cat. She didn't speak. He didn't speak on.

" STARCLAN RETREAT!" the cat yowled. They stopped fighting and followed the she cat who was carrying wingkit. the cat who had lead the cats into battle came up to him and the she-cat. he turned to see the dark cats looking at them. " you will regret it kit." Darktail yelled at him. wingkit looked back ahead. The she-cat looked at him but then looked straight forward.
"Flowertail. Is he ok?" He saw the cat say. He smelled that it was a Tom. While they where talking he saw all the cats getting closer to the edge of the Forest.
All the cats and him burst through the trees and he met a place with stars. He stared in aw. He felt his self be set down. He stood up and looked around. He saw the cats circle him.
"What are you doing? Why am I here? What was that place?" Wingkit asked. Flowertail stared at him and stepped forward. "That was the darkforest. And your here cause we saved you from them. They wanted you so they can make you evil."
He nodded. He looked at another cat as he stepped forward. " we can't remove the curse, but we can give you the power to protect your clan from the curse. I will give you the power to never miss a bit of prey. Never die or loose in battle. You will never get sick. And to run fast as windclan. Swim like riverclan. Jump high like skyclan. And sneek through the night like darkclan. But there is a price. If you use these poers for bad they will be gone. And your clan might die. Also. You will get wings .But they are hard to control. You can hide them in your fur. But it will be hard to contain them a secret. Only your medicine cat may know. And try and keep it from your mother. Remember what we said. Good only."
He stared in astonishment . could he keep this a secret. He saw the cat come up and touch noses with him.
