backstory: Brightkit had a normal kithood with her sister, Mistkit. Brightkit always preferred to stay in the shadows, while her sister always seeked attention. Then they became apprentices. Mistpaw was whiny and always complaining, but she still caught the tom's attention. Mistpaw would do anything for attention. Once, Brightpaw had caught a huge rabbit and Mistpaw claimed the credit for it. Brightpaw was too shy to call attention to herself by standing up for herself. Then they became Mistpetal and Brightcloud. At that age, Brightcloud's only friend was named Gorsepaw. Mistpetal always teased her for having a friend that was an apprentice. After gorsepaw was made into Gorseblossom, Brightcloud started growing closer to a tom named Raintalon. Brightcloud was at the point of asking him to be her mate when Mistpetal pranced into the camp, bragging that she and Raintalon were mates. Brightcloud was very, very hurt. She didn't talk to anyone for a half-moon, not even Gorseblossom, or her mother Rippleflower, who she was also close too. Then Mistpetal announced that she was having kits. They were named were Dewkit, Stormkit, and Berrykit. A couple of moons later, Raintalon died in a battle with ThunderClan. Brightcloud started meeting the medicine cat, Rowanheart, secretly on secluded places of the moor. They became mates.One night, Brightcloud had a bellyache, so she went to Rowanheart. She found Mistpetal in his nest with him, curled up. That drove Brightcloud over the edge. She killed them while they slept. When she realized what she had done, she was horrified. She ran away from the clan and joined a rogue group. When the group was scattered by an attack from dogs, she became a loner and met a tom named Cloudy. She was scared to grow close to him, but she did, and she had his kits: Brownie and Bounce. She later died peacefully in her sleep, curled up next to Cloudy.

It's interesting that her sister stole both her mates, but kind of weird. There aren't that many OC's that start out as warriors, then become loners.

Clan: WindClan

It's nice to see an OC that isn't in thunderclan, but almost every OC I have rated has been in WindClan.

Overall I would give Brightcloud a 9/10, and I think it is pretty cool that she became a loner after growing up in a clan. I also like how her character develops.
