How did you discovered Wattpad?

My friend had me make an account during school at the computer lab. XD And my friends name is @MavisSilvermoon :D

What inspired you to write?

My friend Mavis had this super cool eight book series long here on, Wattpad and that encourages me to continue writing. Before that, I used writing to escape from the harshness of school. :P

How did writing help you escape?

Well when I was younger I used to be a fan of The Super Mario Brothers, still am today. I used their characters and wrote little stories about them. I slaved my self over some of my scrips in a good way. This allowed me to escape into my imagination and turn the teacher out.

Of all the stories you wrote, which one is your favourite?

The Star Child. :) It introduces my main oc Star and all that jazz....

Do you listen to music while you write?

No not really.

How did you make your OC Star?

This is where it's gonna get personal.

Remember when I said I used writing as a place to escape? Well, it only got worse. I was obsessed with writing when I was younger, still am today. In fact, I became so obsessed, people started noticing it and wanted to view my stories. Of course, I trusted them. All they did was take my stories and throw them around the room. They laughed at what I wrote. They actually took the pages and started tearing them up. One time I actually tried to take one of my note books outside to write, but one kid took it away from me while the others held me back from ever reaching it. They turned it into the teacher, and even she laughed and agreed with them.

Because of this I stopped writing. I became shy, afraid of letting anything out, fearing that people would hurt me like that again.

Then I met Mavis who got me intro writing again. She encouraged me to create an original character and it took a long time before I did, and well I did. Star wasn't my first oc, however, my first oc was a boy named Leroy and when his first book came out it got pretty bashed on. Of course, this made me stop writing again. I was afraid of creating original creations and swore never to make another oc again.

So then, finally, a Wattpader known as @OliviaLovesSnow was holding a contest. of course there was an art section, and the other section was to write a story about her. This took a lot of gut but I finally decided to join. The first story I wrote, "The Star Child" was actually called "Stars and Snow." Originally It was going to be about Olivia's character on a journey. I relized that, she already had a lot of people doing that, but seeing that my orignallity had been smashed on a billion times in the past I started writing that anyway.

I actually don't know what happened. XD I started writing the story and out of no where I pulled Star out of the gutter. I actually had her idea as a character for the longest time. As I starting writing her story, Star started to evolve. I wanted to be finished with only just the first book, but I started to realize her potential as a character. It wasn't until the end of the series that I started to claim her as my own oc. Also, along the help with some of the readers her liked the story a lot.

What evolved from one story turned into three. What evolved from just a character to something I got attached to, and got my confidence back and couldn't stop writing about her. Part of it I was also jealous of Mavis' popularity at the time X)

How many books have you wrote about Star?

Well, there goes her main series so that makes three. I wrote a collab with my friend called Games of Fire which makes it four, then a spin off book called Rough Ends Tide Together focusing on her love interest in the series so that makes five. I've written many other collabs and short stories that I keep personal so more than I can count XD Counting the fourth book that I'm currently writing called "Terminal" so that would make six. lol

What do you think is the best or/and worst features on Wattpad?

The worst feature on Wattpad is the new layout. It looks dull and uninspired. I lost the freedom to change my background when ever I wanted to. I also hate the fact that your icon has to be in the middle of the banner where it makes it hard to see the picture. I don't even get book updates like I used to which makes it harder for me to reach out to followers. Plus they removed the Status Bar. Now I'm forced to put my status bar in my comments box which for some reason is apart of my own Newsfeed....?

The reading layout is just terrible. Well, okay, but not okay for the media. Now everything is at the top of the screen instead of off to the side. YouTube Videos and Photos are put in the same place, forcing the reader to physically switch to see it.

The commenting is simple to. We cant even use the word 'Kill" because it is flagged as a cuss word. No tolerance with Wattpad at all guys... no tolerance. :P

It's been nothing but a glitchy mess since these new installments. My friend left because she got sick of Wattpad changing every so often, and because of that It's been pretty dull to me. I mean, Mavis is the main reason why I'm on here! :/

People monitoring the threads have also gotten strict. We can't even hold a descent conversation there with out having a thread shut down. They have to be "Open to the public" or "With a topic" WHY SO MANY RULES?!?

One more thing for the worse, I hate the fact that Wattpad has a limit to how much they can type in there comment box, bios, and even PMs. It makes it harder to co-write and plus there's a tone more things I want to say in my bio that are way more than 2000 words. :P

Ugh.... now I'm just ranting but I feel like Wattpad lost its charm a little since I first joined. Expecually since Mavis left. :P The good? Ehh......It's better than Fanfiction.net. You can actually talk to the ambassadors who run the sight and Its a pretty safe community. Every one here seems to be friendly and I've made a tone of good internet friends on here. People actually put effort into there stories and its easier to get noticed. :)

What's your top three favourite genre?

My top favorite genres are Fantasy, Action and Adventure! :)

What is your favourite movie/TV show?

I don't really watch much TV. I just watch what ever my bros watching. With the weird TV shows that are on air today, I don't really have one. But, I do have a lot of respect for shows like the Amazing World of Gumball and Teen TightensGo.

If I wanted to go farther back, I really enjoyed watching Spongbob, Rugrats, and other shows that were on that were worth watching.

If you could travel to any place in the world (even in movies/books) where will it be?

That's a really good question! :O I'd probably go to space, because I love looking at the stars! XD

Is that where you get your username from? "StarCrafter", from having a liking to gaze upon stars?

Up, also got it from Minecraft because I really liked the game at time time! ^-^

Who's your favourite actor/actress?

Eh, I'm not really into that stuff.

What's your favourite book, and who's your favourite author on Wattpad?

My favorite author is @OliviaLovesSnow, and my favorite book is one of her own, "The Snow Girl"
