Q: Why did you join Wattpad?

A: At first I joined wattpad with the sole motive of reading books. Then I realized I can write my own ideas down in a platform where I am getting judged on a platform of million users based on my work. So to present my own thoughts in written format, I joined wattpad.

Read and write, thats the dream.

Q: What's your opinion on Constructive Criticism here on Wattpad?

A: I am open to critcism. I believe it helps me to improve. Now if its constructive or not, I take it with open arms and mind.

Q: Who's your favorite character from any book you've read and why?

A: I don't have any favourite character as such but I can relate most to Ron Weasely of Harry Potter series. I believe most of us has characteristics of Ron rather than the other two. I have my own insecurities, peer pressure and a bit self abusing. But on the other hand, I would like to think I am the fun element in my friends circle.

Q: Who's your biggest inspiration?

A: Hands down my mom and my friend (who is also there in wattpad)

They always strive me to give my 100% in everything and tell me I much more than my underconfident version.

Q:  Favorite published author and favorite author on here?

A: Favourite author would be J.K Rowling as she was able to portray every human emotion in the series making it realistic and enjoyable.

Favourite author here would be defend (Twelve ways to spend one's christmas eve)

Q: What's your favorite type of music to listen to when you write?

A: I mostly listen to pop and sometimes rock.

Q: What's the reason behind your username?

A: Ha! See my username is actually my real name. Sum is the short for of Sumedha. And Ry is actually Ray, my surname. I don't know about the 00 though.

Q: Do you think any particular genre on Wattpad is overused? Why?

A: With all due respect I think fanfictions and werewolfs are a bit overused. I read few stories and the plot was repetitive. Also, bad boys should become a genre by the huge response it generates.

Q: What's your favorite book that you've written, and is it based on any real events?

A: Till now, my favourite book of mine will be Café Talks and the one I am currently writing, Futile. It is not at all based on real events. The ideas just dance around in my head before I give it a written shape.

Q: What's your favorite thing about Wattpad?

A: My favourite thing on wattpad will be that it gives a chance to everyone to write whatever they want, even if it is amateurish or professional. Just write and write. Thats it. Someone will read it surely. And also, free books! ;)

Q: Do you believe everyone makes mistakes in writing?

A: Of course, everyone makes mistakes while writing. If one could write a perfect story at one go, he/she would be God according to me. Make mistakes. Lots of them. Then evolve from them.

Q: And do you have any advice for your fellow young writers out there?

A: I do have one advice besides writing without thinking what others will say.

Its patience. I have seen it works. Your story needs time to gain recognition. You have to wait. Don't complain about reads and votes. You continue writing.It will take months and years but at the end it will be worth it.Then someone somewhere in this world will read it. Even one read or vote matters a lot.Just be patient.
