INTRODUCTION

An Author Games (also known as a Writer Games) is a writing competition held over the course of a number of weeks with different tasks to do every few days/week. After each task, participants are eliminated until there is only one writer standing, imitating The Hunger Games written by Suzanne Collins.

This is a book dedicated to how most Games work. In here you'll find typical rules, basic Hunger Games knowledge, as well as all the different stages of the Games.

How does a Games work, precisely? Many people who were planning on signing up for one (or already had) have asked this question to hosts or any friends, and this guide has been created to give those people who wonder such things a stable and dependable answer.

Please note that not all Games run exactly like what is explained in this guide, but what is written is as close to universal as possible. Most Games included in the Seedings are normally run within these guidelines.
