I stayed in bed a little longer than usual and Mavrick an even tried to see if I was still sleeping. 

I just didn't feel well and it was mostly because I did't want to see Kyle. I didn't want to deal with him at the moment probably because of last night when I was the only one left after dinner. I yelled at him and I was so mean.

He deserved it. No he didn't I was cruel.

I was saying the truth. No I was accusing him of being in love with me. 

I was taking what I had as an opening to break him down as he does to me. He doesn't break me down he just keeps us all in check.

I heard the door open but stayed looking at the wall. I missed a full day and I knew the lash I was gonna get from Kyle tomorrow. 

"Welcome back Mavrick." I said and I felt my bed sink. I heard his breath and soon I felt his lips graze up my arm. I didn't know what was going on but I didn't move and shut my eyes tight. I felt his lips plant a kiss on my shoulder. I shivered and heard his bed sink in and him moving. But what was over me and what was kissing me and doing this to me. I didn't move when he turned me and kissed my collarbone. I shivered again they were so cold yet so warm and made me want to grab them and pull them close and never let go. I felt a cold kiss on my neck feeling like they were giving me my first hickey. I bit my lip from moaning and letting them I liked it. He nipped me and I felt those teeth. He kissed up my neck and felt my hickey growing in. They were at my cheek and then moved closer to my lips and that's when I pushed them away and I heard them fall o the floor with a thud. 

I opened my eyes and saw Mavrick in his bed looking at the guy I must have pushed on the floor. I looked at the guy his white and ice white eyes fitting so perfectly together.

"Kyle?!" I said and he sat laid back on the floor. "W-why would y-you d-do that to me?"

"Because I listened to you. You made me feel like you have a crush on me so I just wen for it." I looked at him in disgust and got up. I left the room and went outside going in the direction of town. I went to the bookstore and of course there was May. 

I caught her eye and went over to her. She touched my cheek and her eyes widened probably at the sight of the mark he left on me. 

"He put this mark on you?" She questioned and I nodded. "He was in here the other day I should've shot him right where he stood." 

"May." She looked at me and touched my shoulder. "He did it because he thought I made a huge love confession to him last night." She shook her head and growled.

I heard the little bell and looked seeing those eyes. He speeded towards me and May stopped him in his tracks. 

"Back up." She growled. He did as she said and looked at her confused.

"Why won't you let me over to her?" He asked.

"Because you don't deserve to be here. I hate that you even touched her. She has a hickey because you're such an idiot and thought she made a huge love confession to you well you honestly don't deserve to get her back. She is such a strong and independent person yet you sit there and look at me like I'm crazy. You won't touch her till you learn to respect her."

"I do. I protect her and I hate when the other cannibals touch her it makes me want to rip them to shreds."

"Yet you sit there and tell me lies but she sits here with a hickey on her neck and a glint in her eye from tears that threatened to shed because of you." I have never seen him look more afraid. He looked terrified.

"I'm sorry."

"You're sorry?! Don't tell me tell her!"

"I'm sorry Malikai." I looked at him and saw the fear in his eyes.

"I forgive you." I said and she still growled.

"Now fuckboy I want you to go and get fruit, chop it up and put it in a bowl then give it to her. If you have a problem with that you will run it up with me not her and if you do I will chop your head off." He gulped and nodded.

"Okay."

"What?"

"Yes ma'am!" I stood and he was already running. I said my goodbye and started going home. I sat down at the dinning table and he put a bowl of fruit in front of me. I looked up at his trembling form and stabbed a piece of fruit then chew and swallowed.

"You gonna be okay?" I asked and he nodded.

"So you like fruit?" I nodded. "I just don't see how. I don't enjoy any food besides human flesh and junk then their blood to drink."

"Well I enjoy everything beside what you just said." He looked at me confused and I had just realized the cup in his hands. He lifted it to his lips and I took a deep breath.

"I'm human." I said and he spit out the blood.

"What?!" He said in shock. "I marked you. I made you mine! How could you?!" I just looked at him offended.

"What?" I said and stood.

"I thought you were a wendigo like me but you lied to e and you've been lying since we first met." I growled.

"I hate you and I hope you go die!" I screamed and ran away into the woods. I sat on my little hill in my tree holding my legs and singled crying. 

I looked at the house and growled in anger but at the same time I could only cry. I heard four feet moving.

"Hey Mali you okay up there?" I heard Mavrick and looked down at him. He smiled and waved. I saw that the other person was Kyle and stood comping on the branch till it snapped and fell down missing them. I pulled myself onto another ranch and looked down at Mavrick and only him.

"I want him gone." I snapped.

"That's not an op-" Kyle began but I barged in.

"No one asked for your opinion!" He growled.

"I got him out here for you to talk to okay?"

"Dod I ask you to do that? Oh yeah no I didn't." I snapped back. "Mavrick he has to leave or I'm not talking." Kyle growled.

"I'm not leaving."

"Is your name Mavrick? N so shut the hell up no one asked for your input." They both walked back and soon only Mavrick came back. He climbed the tree and sat with me.

"So you finally told him you were human is what I'm guessing an he didn't take it nicely?" I nodded. "Well he's a nervous reck now. He thought you ran away and he's been pacing all morning is what he said. Then he continued to pace and I hope that he isn't pacing right now but I know he is. Malikai he only was shocked that you had been dealing with eating the human flesh and drinking their blood. It amazed him and he wasn't trying to come off mean but with all that time he had he tried to figure out how and why you would go through so much just to keep him thinking you were a wendigo. He was confused and didn't understand why he said wha he said after. He said he should have asked you things instead of going to conclusions and saying what his conclusions. He wishes that you will forgive him and come back."

"I'll go back but I'm not talking till I feel okay with him once again which I highly doubt but I don't care what he has to say nor do I even want to hear it." I said and we both got out of the tree and started going back inside.

Kyle's eyes widened in pure joy but I walked away and went to our room getting into my bed and closing my eyes.
