Chapter 10

" I've put my trust in you,

pushed as far as I can go,

and for this there's only one thing you should know,

I tried so hard and got so far,

but in the end it doesn't even matter,

I had to fall,

to lose it all,

but in the end it doesn't even matter ,"

RECAP:

"Open that sexy lips of yours Willy," I told him, leaning forward more, my legs touching either side of his, my face a couple inches away from his as I watched his lips.

Damn, did those look magical.

Lips of an angel, I thought to myself.

I watched intently as I brought the bottle closer to his lips, all I could hear was his deep breathing and silent growling in his chest.

My eyes traveled finally from his soft looking lips up his sculptured nose to his dark eyes, starring straight into mine.

And what I did next, even surprised me.

Chapter 10

Eva's POV

Life is like a giant cake.

Full of such sweet pleasures, and may even come to a point where it is just rotten and spoiled.

It can make you feel higher than pot, or it may even make you feel lower than trash.

The point is, life is something that must be cherished, even if it sucks @$$.

You only get one life, and many people are willing to just throw the cake away.

Well, I'll tell you now, that is just a waste, you gotta make do with what you have.

Another thing that was a waste was the bottle of vodka, which used  to be full.

I watched it slowly drip down Will's hair, soaking him in the sharp singe of alcohol, his blond hair darkening.

He remained speechless, his jaw clenched, and his lips in a line.

Letting out a nervous chuckle, all alcohol out of my system as I slowly backed up from his lap.

The growl that left his lips, which indeed did not scare me, had me backing up towards the door.

I quickly grabbed the nearest thing next to me, which happen to be a semi-heavy bean bag chair and chucked it at his face, before sprinting out the door.

My breathing was heavy, each breathe burning deep in my stomach. My mind was urging me to go back to him, yet my heart told otherwise.

My heart was burning and before I knew it, I had sprinted like a mad woman to the kitchen and grabbed the carton of milk, chugging it down.

I didn't know if it would help or not, but the acid in the back of my throat agreed with my decision.

It wasn't my fault as I started wandering the large place again, it was sort of starting to become a bad habit of mine to be honest.

Next thing you know, I'll be called the ghost of this place. Wandering the halls at night, looking for something to screw up.

My eyes dragged across the red walls, darkened by the night sky, the glass ceiling allowing the moon's light in.

This place was so big, that every time I went through these halls, I'd end up somewhere I shouldn't be.

The paintings on the walls indicated that this place was a lot older than everyone led on. The vases looked expensive and the occasional flowers were dead, yet held their beauty with an iron grip.

The walls eventually changed from the red plush like walls, to more like concrete blocks, with a dark grey faded color.

My gaze lifted back up to the bight full moon, shining high above the sky with the silence of house.

I continued to walk through the hall, turning a corner every so often, taking in the dungeon appearance.

Maybe I should burn this damn place down?

Holy poop!

I think I'm an alcoholic!

Wait.......that means I can drink with a purpose?

I shook my head, I defiantly didn't understand one thought I just had.

The sudden large wooden door, chained with a strong metal outline to the keypad for a code.

Each door smelled older than the earth itself, and the stench of rotten blood was soaked into the atmosphere.

I clutched the milk to my chest, the only humanity in this place, taking cautious steps and looking around.

This was a dungeon after all, and many things could go wrong. I could kill someone! Or worse! I could freaking rape them!

After all, I was a proud alcoholic. I could do whatever I pleased.

My eyes scanned all the door, yet landed on the second to last one, lingering there.

It had a distinct scent, one more bloody than the others, and a lot fresher. Yet it wasn't the smell of blood that caught my interest, dragging me towards it.

It was the person the blood had come from.

I stood in front of the large door, staring at the keypad.

What the hell was up with these?

Who puts a keypad locked door, on a wooden door for crying out loud!

These people must be idiots, I thoughts laughing inside.

My fingers grazed the keypad, doing their own little dance on top on it.

I typed in Uncle's name, it clearly flashing red.

I even tried Carol's name, the head guard, and the right hand man.

I kicked the door in frustration.

Why wouldn't it open already!

What possible password could Uncle have put? Something simple?

I had one more try remaining before it locked me out.

What does my Uncle love the most other than being a controlling butt?

The answer quickly popped into my head, and I hesitated typing it in. If I got it wrong, let's just say I'd be in a lot of trouble and it would not end well.

I sighed YOLO, taking one last sip of milk, for it might be my last, before slowly typing in the three letters.

E.

V.

A.

It beeped semi-loudly, just as I closed my eyes, and prayed for this to be quick.

To my surprise, the light flashed green, and the door unlocked itself.

My eyes went wide.

Can I hear a BADASS or what!

I took deep breathes, jogging in place.

This is it Agent 008! It's the moment of truth!

I stuck my head in first, making sure the area was clear. The place was dark and smelly, looking exactly what would be imagined of a dark dungeon stinking of death.

The coast seemed clear except for the figure chained to the wall.

His head hung down, his throat chained to the wall with his hands and legs. His bare torso was covered in bruises and cuts that were already healing. His black hair clinged to his face, since his hair was a lot shorter than Will's.

My guard was lowered since seeing him in such a disabled manner. I actually felt regret and pain from his position he was in. His brother was tied all happy in my room, while he was all alone down here, rotting in a cellar.

My eyes shot to the right corner next to me, looking at the camera positioned at him.

He didn't respond to my presence, but the way his body tensed and tightened made it obvious he knew I was in there.

Stuck against the wall, I pressed myself and moved closer to the camera, the room small and very tight.

I reached up and touched the bottom of the camera with my hand, hoping that the two guards had fallen asleep or were not looking at the last almost dark screen that I recalled seeing earlier.

I moved it to the empty place to my right, and pulled out the wire that that AUDIO written in big black letters.

I seriously need to become a spy! I was like a freaking alcoholic James Bond!

The sudden moving of chains snapped my attention back to him, the milk pressed into my chest.

His dark chocolate eyes, blood struck and tired, looked right at me.

My body froze, my eyes big, and I did the only thing that came to my mind at the moment.

I waved at him with a same expression, "I come in peaces."

He raised an eyebrow, questioning me.

I returned it, I had said nothing wrong.

Replaying what I just said, I smacked myself in the face, sitting abruptly on the ground to hide the shame on my face.

"I meant peace," I muttered, giving myself an internal pep-talk.

Everyone makes mistakes.

Everyone has those days.

"I'm Eva, but you can call me 008," I said, looking back up with more confidence.

His head rested against the wall behind him, looking down about 8 feet from me. His gaze made me want to get out of the room it was so penetrating.

The way he observed me made me feel sort of out of place, "I guess you don't talk?"

He tilted his head at me, his eyes running down my body and eventually landing on the milk carton.

The sudden idea popped into my head that he might actually be thirsty.

"Would you like a sip?" I asked him, standing back up and holding out the milk.

He looked back into my eyes before giving a small nod.

I walked forward, almost on instinct, and held the carton to his mouth.

It took everything in me to not just dump the milk on his head also, but unlike Will, his actually drank it! At least someone in the family has a brain!

He pretty much chugged the thing down, and I would have taken it away and said that it was mine, but I felt no need to be mean, because he looked like he had just been through hell and back.

After he finished with the small milk mustache, his eyes found mine again.

"Thank you," his raspy voice came out. It actually didn't sound that bad, just a little hoarse. Damn! These people I swear! They couldn't at least give him water?

I smiled, "You are very welcome."

The depth of the dark chocolate eyes had me mesmerized as he continued to look at me, and it was starting to grow on me.

"Derek," he told me, giving a sort of glare.

"What?'' I suddenly asked impolitely.

"You wreak of alcohol and my so called brother," he said with a look of disgust, "The first I don't mind at all, but the second I don't even want to be near at this point."

"Hey! It's not my fault that dumb weenie doesn't have enough man balls to drink some vodka!" I said defensively, frowning.

He let out what seemed like a dry laugh and continued talking emotionlessly, "He doesn't like alcohol at all."

"Well since he pretty much had a shower of vodka, I'd say he has no choice," I muttered, my eyes locked onto the small white line of milk on top of his lips. It was bothering me to no end.

"Shame, I could actually have used that," he said looking back at me, his voice getting increasingly more masculine and clear by each word, but I remained concentrated on the white line.

"I'll keep that in mind the next time I decide to let the weenie have my vodka," I whispered, stepping forward and brushing the line off his mouth. It was like wearing a tan shirt with a little white line, it would no doubtfully catch every ones attention.

I looked up just as I was about to move back only to be caught in the trance by his eyes.

He seemed to be every thing Will wasn't. They didn't even look a tad bit similar. He was more outgoing or willing to talk. He actually preferred alcohol than the smell of his brother.

I cleared my throat, "Sorry, it was bugging me,"  taking a step back and scratching the back of my neck.

He said nothing and just kept starring at me, so I decided to say something to avert his gaze.

"Why are they hurting you?" I asked sadly, looking down at his bare dirty chest of dried blood, "You obviously don't mean any harm! I mean look at you! You don't deserve to be stuck in this place."

He didn't reply, his eyes wandering to stare blankly at the wall.

They pounced back at me quickly, filled with anger, "Maybe you should ask the sex puppet of yours in your room!"

I crushed the empty carton, narrowing my eyes at him, "No need to be a complete D-bag about it! I just asked a question, damn!"

Stomping, I grabbed crushed item, pushed the camera back onto him, and started heading out the room, yet turned back at the last second before closing the door.

"He is not my sex slave! Maybe I made a mistake of picking who I wanted tied to the wall of the worst person in the world? He doesn't need to be stuck with me, and I don't plan on keeping him chained in there," I blew out a breath, closing my eyes.

"Have a good night, Derek. I hope I have a chance to see you again, but next time please change the way you speak to me you weenier," and with that, I closed the door, making my way back through the halls, following my own scent.

The sun had started to rise already, making me sigh as I hauled myself to Carol's room.

I was defiantly not going back to mine.
