A month later Sera was able to sit up in bed by herself. The doctors were letting her start to swim a little every day. Today was the day they were letting her back into her room to finish recovery. The next week she would have to make her first appearance since the attack that nearly cost her life.

Mahdi was on one side, and Des was on the other. Both of them were helping Sera swim back to her room. Mahdi had his hand on Sera's back steadying her when she needed it.

For only being awake for a month she was doing amazing. She was able swim without much help. She could move around without much pain.

They reached Sera's room without her falling. She was helped into her bed where Mahdi and Des made her comfortable.

"Thank you. Both of you," Sera said.

"No problem. Anything to make you comfortable," Des said.

Sera sat up straighter. She took her mid length hair and tied it into a knot on the top of her head. "I don't know what I would do without you two," Sera said once she was settled.

"I don't know. But you have a lot to do before next week. The top priority is resting. You need to be strong to face the crowd," Des said.

"I know. Next week will be me at my worst looking my best."

"And I have no doubt about it. But I agree with Des. You need your rest. We'll leave you alone and come get you for dinner later alright?" Mahdi said.

"Okay. Before you leave can you close my curtains please."

"Of course. We'll see you later. I love you."

Both Des and Mahdi kissed Sera on the head. They closed her curtains and left her room. Serafina's pet octopus Sylvester came and rested next to her head. Sera laid all the way down and fell fast asleep with one hand on Sylvester.
