"I found this when I first came here," Duke informed Max as he led him to where he had found the opening in the fence. It was still there, even after two weeks. Tail wagging, Max stepped forward and stated, "Perfect. Now help me find a weak spot." Rolling his eyes, Duke pushed on the plastic fencing, tearing it. "Or we can do that..." Max murmured, following the larger canine through the opening.

Eventually, the pair found themselves walking side by side along the sidewalk. "Before you know it Duke, you'll be licking your owner's face," Max piped up. Nodding his head briskly, Duke cautioned, "I just wanna point out that we should watch our six for animal control. I don't wanna end up back in the pound."

"Don't worry," Max reassured Duke, "As long as we are wearing our collars, we're safe."
