Memory:

That little boy with that sunshine smile

A little frame bursting with so much joy

Learning to ride his bike, without training wheels

Learning to balance on only two wheels

But he's only a memory...

Big bright eyes, sweetest dimpled grin

Why does it have to bring bitter memories?

So long ago, the sunshine was darkened

And if it weren't for that, he'd have grown old.

But he's only a memory....

I need to learn that lesson, he learned

Of how to take off the training wheels

Of how to regain balance and rhythm 

and to smile....
