I walked the hallways of A.D,Honeysuckle Middle School in search of my Best friend Levi. I was holding a stack of books and couldnt bare to hold them much longer. He was sitting on a bench outside of The history class and he stared at me. "Come to save me now, eh Kali,?" I smiled and blushed a little.

"At least I came now, rather than later," He stared into my eyes and for a moment I felt like he was mad then the feeling faded.

Im Kali Breaker. I come from the small town of Gardina and my parents are American. Im just your normal American teenager if you think about it. Gardina doesn't have many people but we still have school spirit when it comes to sports. As for me, Im not much of a sports person. Im a singer, songwriter, and I draw and act a little. My best friend is Levi Houser. He can be a pain in the butt but I think he's there when I need him and comforts me too.

"Snap out of it! I gotta get out of here before-" Levi was cut off when Ms. Gernee opened the door and saw me standing there. He whispered the rest," Before Ms. Gernee sees us."

I nodded and whispered," No duh." She gave me a death stare through her eye glasses and said in disgust," What are you doing here Kali Breaker?"

"Well I..Uh..Was here to get the page numbers of homework from Levi. What are they, Levi?" He stared at me confused then his eye brightened.

"Pages 303 and 304. Numbers 8-21," He winked at me and I winked back.

"Very well. Come on in, Levi. You are in a lot of trouble mister," I giggled and thought,' What grade are we in? Oh my. I crack myself up.' I walked away and ran into my crush, Danny, making me drop my books on the floor. I knelt down and looked up," Im so sorry."

He looked at me madly, "You should be." He walked away and I sat there picking up books. I felt depressed then thought,'Who needs him.' I looked the way he had left and he stood there kissing his girlfriend. I almost threw up my breakfast. I hurried picking up the last of my hoard of books and rushed off.

3Rd Period came around and I felt a hand on my shoulder. I turned around and Levi was standing face to face with me. I pushed him away lightly and said," Don't scare me like that." He smirked and sat down next to me. I smiled and he asked seriously," I didn't do my homework! What were the pages? Maybe I can get it done befor-" Levi was cut off yet again when science teacher, Mrs. Linsey, came in and saw he hadn't got it done. "Mr. Houser, where is your homework?" He fidgeted with his pencil while thinking of an idea as to why his homework would be late.

"I, uh, my dog ate it? Do you buy that?" I slapped my palm to my face. I whispered over to him," That last part through you off." He nodded and whispered," No dip." I turned and saw how much homework was for tonight and I freaked. "How will I get that done?" I said aloud. I noticed what had just done and looked around. Everyone was staring at me. "Never fails," I muttered.

I got out my homework and gave it to Levi. "Copy it," I urged.

The bell rung and Mrs. Linsey cam back in the room. Levi had one question left and Mrs.Linsey saw my paper. She grabbed mine and Levi's and ripped them. "I will see you two in detention Friday," She gave me the ripped paper and I raged. I bit my tongue and held back a strong retort. She walked back and started teaching the class.

Class was over. I sighed and walked in silence with Levi. He looked at me and said," Could've been worse."

I quoted the Lorax," Shut your mustache." He smirked.

"I don't have a mustache," He put his hand on my shoulder and said,"What are you gonna tell your parents?"

"I dunno. I might just tell them I need to get on the detention bus because I have art class in the morning," I said bumping his shoulder.

"Yeah. Like they will believe that!" He bumped me back and I pretended to fall over and get hurt. He knelt down and said seriously," Are you ok?" I nodded and punched his shoulder.

"Shame on you, Levi," I said sarcastically. I stopped at my next classes and we said our goodbyes. He walked of with his backpack swishing on his shoulder. I giggled and walked into class. I found my seat and barely paid any attention. All I could think about was what I was gonna tell my parents and to a lesser extent, Levi.
