All that could be seen were smiles plastered on everyone's faces as it was a typical day in school once again, with laughter resounding in the halls.

All in all, the day was fun and perfect.

It seemed as if life was going well for once, they all thought.

Not until a huge explosion was heard from a distance.

When Matthew took a glance outside of their classroom's window, he saw a thick cloud of black smoke coming from burnt houses, from schools and from every corner his eyes could lay on.

It was happening.

Before anyone could even take in what was going on, an ear-piercing scream was heard down the hallway.

This was it.

It had reached them.
