Chapter 13
Haise Pov
Great... Just great. Here I thought with them inside their own Dragon Horn, they wouldn't be detected. Which is exactly the case, so how did Deonora find out?
"On your wall, there is a Sword that smells exactly like a Dragon. In fact, the barn also smells like a Dragon." She pointed at the west wall, where my old Dragon Bone Great Sword is hung. Shit. Knew it I was missing something!
"Uh, let's take this outside, shall we?" I moved to the side, allowing them to stand on my elevator. Liliana stood next to me, giving me a slight glare, promising pain if I don't explain.
Once we got outside, we were met by the Werewolves and Ricky keeping them from ruining the flower garden I have.
I lead them outside, knowing that if I want them to believe me, I have to show them.
"Ok, before you say anything. It is not what you think... Ok maybe it is but I didn't kill for sport ok? It was a bounty and a necessary action to take as it was outright terrorizing villages." I hastily explained.
"If you were a local of this world, I would've already killed you, cut off your head, and put it on a spear before sending it to the Humans, if they dare do it." Her glare was leveled, yet I don't feel safer, in fact. I'd rather be back in the Between lands than be the target of her ire.
"But since you are not, I'm willing to listen to your reasoning." She said, clearly irritated.
"Ok, so Uhm. The Dragon Bone Great Sword on my wall was my former weapon of choice. Strong, durable, and definitely sharp enough to cut through the toughest of armor. The scent though... I'll just have to show you." I explained, to which they were confused as to what I meant about showing it.
"Uh, this is why I lead you all outside... They're massive." That was the only warning I gave, as I took out the three Dragon Horns from my inventory. I took the one with a red tip, and blew on it. To which a torrent of flames erupted from the end, before becoming a massive tornado of flames.
Out came a massive frame of a Dragon... Though they should really be called Wyverns, but I didn't make the Mod so yeah. Her Dark scales contrasting heavily with the bright blue armor she wears, her titanic wingspan is enough to cover two houses if she decides to spread them, and finally. Piercing red eyes shone with intelligence.
The girls were at awe, even Deonora herself was stunned at her massive size and frame.
"Everyone, meet Obsidian. Obsidian, meet my Wife and friends." I said, as Obsidian the Black Dragon/Wyvern lowered her head to meet their eyes. Before opening her mouth and immediately lick my face.
"Ah! Damn it Obi! How many times do I have to tell you, it doesn't wash off like normals stains do!" I yelled in frustration as Obsidian let out a rhythmic growl as it laughing.
"By my Mother's Name... She's massive." Druella couldn't help but agree to what Liliana said.
"I thought Wyverns doesn't grow that big!" Elt yelled.
"Different world, different rules dude. Especially since I got Isekai'd twice basically." I chuckled at his stupefied reaction.
"Oh, she's not the only one too." They looked at me like I grew another head.
"There's more!?." This time, it was Wilmarina who couldn't keep it in.
"Two more actually, and you'll find them by far, the most unique." I said before getting a look from Obsidian, almost as if she's pouting.
"Hush you, if you had hands, I'd make you wash my clothes you've just ruined." That made her behave.
I then chose the Dragon Horn with a light blue tip, and once I blew into it. A snowstorm brewed above, which made Sapphirette cast a spell to keep them warm. The cold never bothered me anyway.
Out from the snowstorm, a similarly titanic Dragon/Wyvern emerged. Her scales pale blue, as if to make her blend to her natural habitat. Her piercing blue eyes scanned her surroundings before they landed on me. To which she immediately laid flat on her belly, waiting for me to start scratching her snout.
"It's good to see you too, Aurora. You're certainly more behaved than your sibling here." She purred. Much to the annoyance of Obsidian who huffed out a small puff of flames.
"Oh my Maou! A Wyvern that controls not flames, but Ice!" It was Sapphirette's turn to gawk at Aurora. Who barely had any reactions to it, as she's clearly enjoying my scratches.
Although she did blow a short cold breeze to make an unnecessary point.
"Everyone, this is Aurora. My Ice Dragon, she's more reserved than Obsidian but she definitely knows how to give her opponents a Cold Glare." I chuckled as they kept staring at both of them with open mouths. Except for Deonora, who only has wide eyes.
"And lastly, the last of them." I placed the Dragon Horn with a thundercloud symbol on its side to my mouth. And with a deep breath, I blew.
A powerful thunderstorm came into existence, and the booming of thunder made everyone but me cover their ears.
Out from the Thunderstorm, a deep blue Dragon/Wyvern of exact sizes as the other two emerged. It's purple eyes darting everywhere, as if trying to find something to do immediately before they found me. And out of pure playfulness, she made Aurora move her head away from me, with a small blast of lightning and took her spot.
But instead of giving her a good scratching. I gave her a deadpan stare.
"Seriously Kirin? Do you want me to bring out the staff?" She growled, clearly not wanting me to pull out the Dragon Staff to hit her on the head.
"Good, now apologize to Aurora." She hesitated.
"Kirin." I made the motion to pull out my Dragon Staff, which she immediately took action and nuzzled her head against Aurora. Who didn't even bother trying to reciprocate the gesture, as she knew that Kirin will just do it again some day.
"Good girl. Now behave, or else you'll actually get the staff." She growled in a low tone. Clearly she doesn't want to get Bonked.
"Anyway, apologies for that. Kirin can be too playful for her own good. Anyway, this is Kirin, and if you could tell by her name, she is known as a Lightning Dragon... Though Wyvern should be a better designation for them, but I didn't write the Book." I sighed as I'm honestly annoyed at how they wrote them as Dragons, not Wyverns.
"Well, told you it's better for me to show you than explain it. Oh and for the record, I didn't steal them." Is it really theft if I took their egg from their dead mothers? I mean, I killed them as self defense, while I had to kill Obsidian's mother because she was getting far too close to my base for my liking, thanks to the fact that spawning made a fucking trail of breadcrumbs towards me.
How the fuck I didn't notice her when I was loading the chunks nor she didn't target me, is beyond my knowledge.
"Are those Diamonds?" Both Alameria and Luciana asked, as they pointed at both Obsidian and Aurora's armors.
"Yep, and yes, Kirin has Iron Armor due to the fact that she's the fastest out of them all, and she just prefers the color of Iron." Kirin let out a growl, clearly happy that I remembered her likes clearly.
"Hold on, you say she's the fastest? With that bulk?!" Eva yelled, clearly not believing my claims. And Kirin took that personally.
With the flap of her titanic wings, she took off the ground with speeds
that could rival that of a Dragon in their Original Form on take off, as Liliana said. Kirin then flew towards a nearby mountain and came back around. All keeping it under 15 minutes, and by nearby, I meant at least thirty kilometers away.
"Well, there you have it." Their stupefied faces is the reward Kirin needed to further swell her pride.
"Though that also meant you've just showed yourself to whatever Mamono or Human is out there Kirin." She growled lowly, though I wasn't disappointed.
"Just don't let your pride get to you next time." She hung her head low, just low enough for me to pay her nose.
"Anyway, questions?" I faced them, and Deonora walked forward.
"Haise, what are they to you?" Oh... That's a question I don't really have an answer to but hey, to me. They are.
"Well, they're family of course. I did raise them from an Egg. There were some times where I couldn't handle Kirin's hyperactivity, or Aurora's lack of empathy, or the fact that Obsidian had a lot of tantrums. But all in all, they're precious to me." I honestly answered. And those were mostly true, because Aurora back then in my Minecraft world, wouldn't move, even if she's on Wandering. Kirin will literally immediately disappear, and Obsidian would sometimes randomly breath fire. Probably a bug, but whatever. I considered it as their unique personalities.
My words made my Dragons stir and all three took turns in nuzzling me. Ah, if only they were as expressive like this in the actual game. Though Kirin did try to lay down on me.
"Kirin! You're not a juvenile Dragon anymore!" Kirin growled, annoyed at her current size.
"Look, I know you like being carried but unless you could turn back time, then it won't happen again." I said, until Liliana tapped my shoulder and smiled as soon as I looked at her.
"What? Is there something on my face?" Liliana rolled her eyes, until my brain rebooted itself. Holy shit DUH! My pea sized brain is actually not working.
"Bruh, I'm actually not thinking! Of course! Though that means I'll have to let them out to make sure they absorb a lot of Demonic Energy. Which will take a long time to be completely honest." I slapped my forehead for my stupidity. But hey, I'm actually curious as to how their Mamono form look like. But looking at Wyverns, I'm guessing they will look like them but with the corresponding scale color.
"Alright, so. I'm sure you three are wondering why she smells like a Dragon right?" I pointed at Queen Deonora, which Obsidian, Aurora, and Kirin bobbed their heads.
"Well, she's a Dragon." That made them scrutinize Deonora. Which she thankfully didn't take any offense and only exhaled a stream of fire from her mouth, and flexed her wings.
"She can also turn back to her Original Form, but that's something considered as... Sacred so to speak." I chuckled awkwardly recalling what I read on the Encyclopedia.
"Oh I don't mind, I'm sure your Dragons are quite curious." And before I could protest, she immediately transformed after moving to avoid casualties. Well, except some trees.
I couldn't help but stare as her body began to transform before my very eyes. And when I glanced at Elt, he was blinded by Wilmarina who poked his eyes out and is currently screaming in pain.
I looked at Liliana, who only smiled at me. I really don't like that smile. I extremely feel threatened by that smile.
When Deonora finished transforming, she now stood on equal size to Obsidian, who out of the three, is the largest by a few centimeters and slight bulk.
Bronze scales, glimmering under the sunlight, powerful legs cracked the ground, and a beat of her wings was enough to topple a few trees.
Yep, definitely a Dragon alright. Six limbs, two as wings, two as front legs that ends with clawed fingers, and her hind legs actually dummy thicc, as the sheer amount of muscle flexed under her weight. Her tail, long, thicc at the base, and ends with a whip like tip. I can tell, whoever get the tail will be crushed or sliced in half.
"I should not be looking. I definitely should not be looking. But I can't help but look at her." I heard Liliana giggle beside me, with Druella outright laughing at my expense. I mean, she did warn me. And I guess the bridge got burned right here and now.
"Take a good look children, this is what a true Dragon looks like." Her voice echoed, I'm surprised Ricky and the Werewolves didn't investigate already, but knowing Ricky. He must've passed out after seeing the Trio.
"If staring is a sin, I'm probably the biggest sinner right now." Druella and Liliana both looked at each other before laughing hysterically at my reaction.
"Oh calm down will you, I'm sure you know why she's showing her True Form right?" Fuck, even Liliana knows... I mean, it was obvious enough with how close she's been with me lately, and holy hell! Liliana is actually approving this.
Whichever deity that is willing to help me, please do! And no! I ain't getting help from you three!
Another series of giggling can be heard in the back of my mind. Dude, with them literally watching me, I really want to disappear right now.
Obsidian was the first who approached Deonora, and much to my surprise... No, actually, I take that back. Obsidian only puffed out hot air from her nose.
Which didn't even bother Deonora. As she only looked at her like she's a child. Well, I mean technically true, as they're not as old as Deonora nor half the age of the entire population of Dragons and Wyverns. But they are adults by Ice and Fire standards.
Aurora merely blinked and stared at Deonora blankly. While Kirin didn't pay attention at all after the initial surprise of Deonora's transformation.
"Stubborn, this one is. Truly have you no manners, child?" Deonora stared down Obsidian, who slowly loss ground. Until finally, she relented and lowered her head. Damn, I guess that's a Queen for ya.
"And you, best pay attention. Lest you miss out some important details." Deonora scolded Kirin, who only blinked and looked at me, as if asking me whether or not she should follow Deonora's command.
I shrugged, which she took as a neutral action but nonetheless, lowered her head. Aurora, who still has this blank stare, managed to snap out of it and paid Deonora respect, in the same manner as the others.
"At least this one can be quick on the uptake." Deonora giggled.
"Now that's done." She said before transforming back to her Humanoid form.
"I must return to my Kingdom, I do still need to run it after all." She smirked, but before she could walk away. She deliberately strutted towards me, cupped my cheeks, and pressed her lips onto mine.
"Now you my dearest, better take responsibility for both seeing my True Form and ogling my ass." Oh... She noticed. Fuck.
I didn't even register my senses, until Liliana slapped the back of my head.
"Holy shit, did that just happen?" I asked her, dumbfounded.
"Yes, you silly man. If anything, you're a lucky man considering you have me. Now you caught a Queen of Dragons heart." Liliana giggled before following Deonora inside my compound. Damn, this place really is heaven fro perverts. If only Perverted Sage is here, it's going to be a fucking comedy.
I looked at my Dragons, and found them eyeing me. What? I didn't do anything at all!
"What? I didn't do anything at all!" All three of them rolled their eyes. Damn, even Aurora rolled her eyes there. What is happening!
"Since you three are already out, why not roam the land for a bit, get to know the fauna and just be sure to not get close to any civilization. Else they'd panic." They roared happily before each of them flew their own directions.
"You know Haise, I should thank you for making Deonora fall for you. She's been very lonely and she's quite pent up." Druella placed a comforting hand on my shoulder.
"Ugh... From Werewolves to Dragons. I'm starting to question whether or not I'm cursed by the Gods." She laughed while holding her stomach.
"Oh please, unless you've upset a God from your world, then maybe." With that, she left, followed by Elt, Wilmarina, and the Blue Ice Flowers. Leaving Sapphirette and me outside.
"We should go inside. Ricky must've knocked himself out." She rolled her eyes playfully but joined me anyway. And truth to be told, Ricky is out cold on the lap of Calla. The youngest of the Werewolves.
"He saw the Wyverns and fainted." Liliana said, clearly amused by that fact.
"You owe me three gold coins." I said, much to her chagrin. But gave me the coins nonetheless.
"Anyway, it's about time for lunch. Picnic anyone?" I suggested, and immediately they agreed. Well then, time to get the stove running.
Time skip
We ate at my Backyard, which is basically a large Garden, complete with a fountain and another, larger swimming pool than the one on my second floor. I've planted many flowering plants inside my Garden, many are flowers, but even flowering trees such as the Flowering Oak and Cherry Blossom trees are scattered here and there. Safe to say, everyone loved the place.
"Now open wide, Haise~." Then there's this. I am being spoonfed by both Liliana and Deonora, while it is definitely a good thing, I can feed myself you know!
"No, you're going to take a break, considering you've been running your mouth since a few hours ago, and you've made Lunch. So it's our turn to take care of you." Sheesh, talk about the Soviet Anthem. Anyway, I reluctantly ate. Which is still awkward, but nonetheless enjoyable.
Ricky even is enjoying his time with Calla. While Grey, the Alpha of the group, is trying to keep her other sisters, Agni and Rudra the twins, and Mari, the second youngest. And for the love of Gacha games. Grey literally look like Lappland, now that she has cleaned herself. The charcoal powder that made her hair look darker is gone, allowing her silver mane to fully be exposed. Hell, even her siblings look like Lappland copies with minor differences.
My eyes roamed around, watching everything unfold. Like how Elt is being babied by Druella, and Wilmarina, trying to keep Elt's attention to herself. Eva reading a book she borrowed from my collection, Luciana enjoying the flowers along with Alameria. Kirsch actually being docile for once. While Olivie, Parshe, and Paula are enjoying tea. While Sapphirette took a lot of my History Books with her on a separate picnic cloth for study.
All in all, it is very peaceful, and I hope this would last... Fuck hopefully I didn't just jinx myself.
Oh! What's this! Another update in just a span of a Day!? Who am I! Where is the real Haise that doesn't have a proper update schedule and just suddenly disappears! Yeah, in still me. Kinda got my brain rolling with ideas and bullshitery lmao. Hope you peeps like this chapter! SOUL out!
