The darkness of Rockfall's sleep was suddenly swallowed by stars and starry, dead cats. He turned his head to see Duskstar, his old leader and his mom. Her beautiful orange pelt now shone with stars but she beckoned him closer with her tail before he could get lost in her starry pelt."Listen, my son, to these words and promise me you will persist through. When rocks fall, the cold will come and wreck the clans and only warmth can save them."Duskstar said fading away every minute."I...I promise I will persist through. But, please don't leave yet!"Rockfall said quickly, but it was to late, she had vanished into the cold night air."Wait!!" Rockfall cried into the empty air but he was only met by what seemed to be all the force of winter on him. He struggled to breath and...."Gasp! Oh Starclan why?!" Rockfall screamed into his den, that was full of other cats, and worst he was embarrassed because he just came out of the dream. Did I really have a dream about Starclan? Rockfall thought. After  awhile of deciding he decided to tell Sunflower and let her decide if it was a Starclan dream. He ran out of the den, past the freshkill pile and straight into the den."What do you want?" Sunflower asked as she laid her herbs on the ground. So Rockfall quickly described the dream to her, skipping out on the part where he whined like a kit trying to get his Mom to stay."Yes, that sounds like a Starclan dream to me! I will tell Shinestar at once." Sunflower said, already running off. Rockfall knew when his mission was finished, so he grabbed a small mouse out of the freshkill pile and relaxed in the sunshine.
