Distance for day dreamer,
Withdrawn for the weeping,
Hope for the kind,
Nerves for the broken and self hated,
Smiles from those loved and the small amount of self confidence,
Worries from paranoia of getting hurt,
But scars, all of mine somehow self inflicted,
At least the ones on my hips,
Blur into the habit of marks,
Wondering when it was the skin got stretched,
What do I do when the ones in my head feel just the same.
