We were walking quietly across the woods.

It was so peaceful and green and the rays of sunshine between the leaves made you think of heaven.

Eirik bumped his shoulder with mine to get my attention.

I look at him.

"Are you okay?" He asks," You haven't spoken a word since we left Mags."

"Yeah I'm fine," I say," Is it true that my father and brother are okay?"

"Mhm,yeah.I talked with the Alpha of the Silver moon pack and I informed them that you're here.I don't know if he has told your family yet."

"Okay,thank you Eirik," I sigh.

"Heyy,nobody died so don't be sad." He says in a weird voice to make me laugh.

I smile a bit and turn my head towards Kai who is lost in his thoughts.

So Kai,the Beta.

"Beta,"I start but he interrupts me," Kai,please"
He says and gives me his attention.

"Okay Kai,so you know a girl name Aislyn?"

His eyes start shining.

"Yeah,she's my mate." He says with a smile,"I mean I haven't marked her yet,as her family believes that a couple should mark each other only on the mating season.I can't wait for the ceremony two days from now."

The ceremony.

I have to take part now that I'm a member of Primo.

"I said to her that I will come." I say.

"You've met her?" He asks surprised.

"Yeah,she came one night to Magdala.She said you were waiting for her."

"Oh yes,she needed roses,enchanted ones to resist even after the ceremony.She loves flower crowns." He says.

"That is nice," I say but then suddenly ask," Why did you think I am his mate?"

He gets ready to talk but again Eirik gets himself in.

"Well,he asked for your name and thats a big start because I don't even know how he knows my name and we have been friends since kids." He says in a dramatic way," And then he stared at you like forever but without giving out any emotions and thats weird.He doesn't usually keep his anger hidden,but he really didn't want us to know what was going on through his mind." He says.

I think a bit of what he said,trying to justificate his behavior towards his own mate.

"His friend you say,so what is his name?"

Of course I will ask,I need to know his name.

He looks a little taken back.

"Hmm,why do you wanna know?" He says," It is not like you will use it anyway.If somebody calls him something else other than Alpha or Alpha Addaris as in his surname,or the Absolute Alpha,they're dead anyway."

"Why is he like this?" I ask.

Kai replies.

"Well he is the King of all.He is a conqueror,someone who has had a lot on his plate since he was a kid and someone who has seen a lot of deaths and battles and everything like that.
His father was a good alpha,but yet he let his pack down,being weak and not trained enough.
Yes,he did some bad things and he is like a demon monster to the other packs,but he is the best alpha we could ever ask for,as in he took care that his pack was the best and on top of the food chain.
Everyone here is proud of having him as an alpha although the strong rules.
He is not bad within the pack borders,but can't say the same thing about the filthy outsiders." Kai spats.

"Filthy outsiders?" I ask in a mocking tone," So just like the rumors,it is true that you think so low about every wolf outside your pack borders.Thats why you never considerate on taking in other wolves and killing them instantly." I say a little angry.

We are wolves after all,same beings and we should stick together and not hunt each other down.

Only if it's a rogue,than yeah,I agree.

"We are the best,everyone knows that." He says and ends the discussion since I no longer want to speak.

After walking for like twenty minutes,I can finally see the big mansion,all made by wood and brick and lots of windows.

Trees stand tall around it,and children laugh and play behind them.
I can see little wooden cabins here and there and somewhere on the far left side of the big pack house I see flowers and boxes being lifted and voices shouting giving directions.

I guess there is where the ceremony will take place.

A voice attracts my attention.

"Love," Aislyn shouts and runs towards Kai,jumping on his awaiting arms.

"What took you so long," She asks but then as she sensed me,she gets down from Kai's arms and comes towards me.

" Osy Hi," She greets and hugs me.

"Hey Aislyn," I say.

"Hello there miss Beta," Eirik says and bows down.

I think I heard Ais saying dickhead but then again she laughed and gave Eirik a one side hug.

She then turns to me.

"We felt you joining the pack," She says in a low voice," How is it possible?"

"I don't know," I say.

She gives me a weird look and then links her arm with mine and draggs me forward.

"You should have seen the faces of the pack members after understanding that a new one just joint."She says while laughing," I don't know what made the Alpha accept you to our pack,but since I saw you the first time I felt a connection and knew that you were someone special.I think it is wonderful having a new spirit in here." She says sweetly.

"Oh and God,you should have seen the faces of the un-mated females after I said that I'm sure it is the girl I met at Mags." She laughs.

"What are you talking about," I ask curiously.

I don't understand what she's implying.

" Well,it is the mating season and those idiots think the Alpha will choose one of them to mate since it's difficult for him to control himself these days." She says.

" So,the Alpha isn't mated?" I ask,wanting to know if another girl is the reason why he didn't recognize me.

"Oh No,we have no Luna.
There are words that the Alpha isn't blessed with a mate because of the sins he's made.And the only chance for him to have a heir is to mate someone from the pack.
So most of the girls keep themselves untouched by others,so that they can be Luna.
But he never sees them with a different eyes and he never lets them in his bed." Ais says with a prideful tone.

I can't hide my smile.

"Why are you smiling?" She asks curiously.

"Oh nothing,I just wanted to ask,Is Kai your real mate?"

"No,we fell in love since we were 16 years old.Now we're both 23 and I don't want to wait anymore,neither does he.We love each-other and we're ready." She says with a small smile.

"I wish you the best," I say with a small smile myself.

I now see where she got us.

An opened area between the trees,with benches and swings.

I sit on a big black swing and she sits on the one next to mine.

"We are behind the pack house," She says.

"I will show you around if you like," She adds and starts swinging.

"No problem,Eirik promised me he will," I say and start swinging.

I raise my legs so that my body is bend enough to see the sky above.

My long hair wraps around my neck and face when I go behind and flies freely when I move forward.

I remember my childhood so a happy toothy smile takes over me.

I turn my head right a little bit to stop the sun  from hurting my eyes,only to look at the back part of the pack house.

Instinctively I raise my gaze to the window on top of the building,only to see a pair of hazel eyes shining in the dark,observing me,and then disappearing as they were never there,leaving the moving curtains behind.
