Being in the same territory with lots of other packs brings many problems.

There are the conquerors,the ones whose wants go limitless.

There isn't any leader who doesn't want a bigger territory for his pack,but there is only one that achieves his desires,no matter what.

He is known as the Absolute Alpha,and if there would be any King among werewolves,he would sit on that throne.
His pack is huge but compact and is located in Alaska.They used to create wars to extend their territory and now they have the whole Alaska,a little bit of Russia andthe Northern part of Canada.They have all the other packs respecting and fearing them so he has achieved the greatest goal of a leader,Absolute Power.

Nobody mentions his name even within his pack.We,their neighbor pack,don't even know it,noor would we speak it if we did.What we know is,stay as far as you can from their pack borders.Their trackers sense movements in great distances and they have a reputation to keep.But anyw....

"I swear I'm gonna call the Doc" Orion exclaims dramatically.

I was lost again and I'm surprised I haven't collided with a tree so far.We were going to the training area that was in the middle of the forest next to our pack house.

"You're gonna do what," I shout while tackling him down in a playful way.

He growls lowly,jumping midair away from me and turning into a big sand color wolf.

I stand 5'7" but his wolf is still taller than me.

I pet his head and open the mind link.
We use it only when we are in wolf forms cause we want our phones to be useful.

"I think you are informed that you just shredded your clothes Ori"

"That's why you being a good girl will find me some shorts"He gave me an wolfish grin.

I scoffed but at the end found some clothes at some bushes.Lucky for us,the snow has melted and the clothes weren't wet.We always leave clothes in the forest if we ever find ourselves in some uncomfortable situation.

I heard the growls and the shouts of my dad before laying my eyes to the training ground.

Two males from the pack were sparring,both in their human form.They had scratches and blood all over their bodies.I recognized them as Dimitri,the Alpha's eldest son,and John,one of our best warriors.

My father took the training too seriously if it was for the high ranks while the pack usually trained only to be more reflexive and help their beasts develop.
I saw him smelling the air,probably sensing me.He turned his head in my direction and gave me a toothy smile.I smiled back and made my way to him only to be interrupted by a high screeching voice.

"Osyyyyy,"

My best friend screamed from across the field and ran straight to me with her arms opened.

"Zaya," I replied while doing the same gesture that turned into a big hug.

My voice was way too low because we were in public and I was known as the coldhearted,hotheaded warrior chick whose voice is usually forgotten.

But Zaya Doms is my opposite.

"We're sparring together today only because I want to punch you so bad.You didn't answer my calls,you've blocked me from the mindlink and you lost one of the greatest parties ever.And not to mention I stayed two days without seeing my bestfriend.I don't know how I'm still sane.Are you sure you're not my mate?"
She continues talking and talking.

"Now that I'm thinking it I may be your soulmate since I'm the only one who stands being with you for so long," I mock while she slaps me playfully.

"You just hurt my feelings,bad bestie,"She says and I think she's ready to say something else until her eyes land on my brother.She blushes immediately.

"Hey Orion,"

I never thought her voice could be that low.
My brother that has just made his way back to me with Dimitri,whose body is back to normal because of our healing abilities,smiles brightly after seeing Zaya.

"Hey sweet cheeks," He replies affectionately and gives her a side hug.

Meanwhile Dimitri bows his head in acknowledgment towards me and I do the same thing.
We've never been friends but we have always respected each other.

Zaya and Orion continue talking and I find this as an opportunity to go where I wanted to at first.

I find my father teaching the pups a simple move of self defense.I watch them with a soft smile on my face and make my way towards them.
I touch my dad gently on the shoulder and he immediately turns full force and throws a punch towards my head.I dodge it easily and  push him away from me.He watches me with amusement before running and jumping over me.

For a fight to end,the opponent has to have his mouth on your neck.It is the part of our body that we mostly protect cause it brings direct death.

That's why mates mark themselves on their necks,so that it gives a message like "I'm giving you my neck,I believe you with something as big as that and I feel safe when I'm with you."

Mates again,why am I thinking so much about them.It's not that I have too much chances on finding mine.

One moment I'm overthinking and the other second I find myself with my face kissing the wood's ground, and my dad's arm around my neck ready to choke me to death.
I move my head on my left side showing submission and my dad lets me go.

"Where were you girly,you don't usually submit without a good fight," My dad says while removing the dust from his clothes.

"I just got distracted,not in the mood for any sparring or fighting today," I say truthfully.

A giggle gets both of our attentions.I turn my head to see Orion holding Zaya on his arms and spining around while laughing.

"This season he's going to mark her,I'm sure of it," dad says.

"Yeah,I guess."He watches me with a weird expression.

"What?" I ask.

"Has anyone woken up your interests?" He asks in a way too serious voice.And it isn't a difficult question.

"No,not so far," I answer.

"You are twenty years old,it's time and you know it.Most of the wolves at your age have pups.And you know that males will fight for you.You are strong,you will give strong offsprings.And you are one of the most beautiful girls in the pack.It won't be difficult to do something."He says.

I hate it when he opens this conversation.It is not that I'm waiting for a mate or something as romantic as that.
It's just difficult for me and I can't see any of my pack members in a different way.How bad must it be to end up mateless?
