-This story is set in Alaska

-There are three Clans, LynxClan, BearClan, and HareClan

-They don't exactly have a StarClan, but they worship the "Great Spirits". The spirits are the Lynx, the Bear, and the Snow Hare. There are other animal spirits, but the clans worship these three specifically.

-The Clans somewhat reflect their spirits in behavior and appearance. BearClan cats are omnivores, much like real bears. They tend to have solid colored fur or classic tabby markings, with colors leaning towards greys, browns, and black. LynxClan cats live up the mountain in a cave. Their fur markings tend to be spotted tabby and lynx point. Their fur colors are commonly black, grey, white, and occasionally brown. HareClan lives in burrows and they are the smallest out of the three clans. Their fur colors vary the most, being able to have all cat colors in their clan. They also have a wider variety of markings.

-Their way of hunting is somewhat different from the classic way. Due to the large animals in their territory (caribou, wolves, etc.), they hunt in groups much like wolves. Their ancestors learned the technique by watching wolves, and the founder of LynxClan was thought to be raised by wolves.

-Each clan has a "moonpool" place that they connect to their spirit at. LynxClan, farther up the mountain above their cave, in another cave. BearClan, in a tranquil grove. A small island surrounded by water with a willow tree in the center. Wildflowers grow all around it. HareClan, down a tunnel at the base of a cliff. The center cavern is dark, but there are glowing crystals embedded in the rock.
