AN: I went back and re-wrote part of chapter 3 and re-wrote chapter 4 because I didn't like where it was heading. So if you wanna understand this chapter go read the other two. Okay that's all!!!

When I woke up Duncan wasn't there, I slowly got up, stretching my back and fixing my mask so it stayed up. When finished with that I finally noticed how quiet it was. I didn't hear any machines, I didn't hear Nano's yelling. I didn't hear Duncan.

Duncan.

When he told me this "Mother" person had talked to him, saying terrible things...oh god. I quickly got and made a dash for downstairs and outside yelling their names. I looked around for answers but they were nowhere. My heart started to beat quickly. Finally I gave one lay shout.

"DUNCAN!!!!"

"Yes?" I jumped and turned around. "C-Christ where the hell did you go?! I thought you'd gotten killed!-not like I would care or anything...." I mumble. He frowns, obvious hurt. "We...me and Nano went to the Twilight Forest to go get some stuff...." I pale. "You....have a portal?"

He nods. "We had to get things for Nano's witchery stuff." He bites his lip and sighs.

"You hungry?"

"Seems the mighty mage has returned."

"Let's give them a few days. Then we'll do our job."
