Bruisespeckle padded up to her Flamepelt, and Flamepelt was unsure of how Bruisespeckle would react to her having kits. Flamepelt and her sisters, Nightburr and Bruisespeckle, never got along, so Flamepelt was nervous on how Bruisespeckle would react. Bruisespeckle sniffed Flamepelt's five kits. Snowkit, Windkit, Palekit, Cardinalkit, and Shadowkit. Flamepelt hissed, and Bruisespeckle glared at her. "You don't really think I'll hurt your kits, do you?" Bruisespeckle meowed, annoyed. "I'm the medicine cat!" Flamepelt hung her head, ashamed. "Yeah...sorry" Flamepelt meowed. " Well I never thought you would get the LEADER as your mate!" Bruisespeckle growled. "Well what are their names?" Bruisespeckle meowed before Flamepelt could respond. "Uh... I was thinking Shadowkit for the black one... Snowkit for the firstborn... Palekit for the other white one, Windkit for the second to last one, and Cardinalkit for the red one!" Flamepelt meowed. Bruisespeckle growled "Selfish you are, Flamepelt, making ALL of them!" Flamepelt growled, but she realized Bruisespeckle was right...Sort of. "Well fine! Get Snakestar in here!" Bruisespeckle padded out to get Snakestar, and Flamepelt licked her kits. When a happy Snakestar came in the nursery with Bruisespeckle, he looked at his five kits. "Can I name one!?" Snakestar asked excitedly. "Of course!" Gameplay purred. Snakestar pointed to Cardinalkit with his tail. " I want to name this one Bloodkit!" Snakestar purred. Flamepelt looked at him. Was he serious!? Seeing that he wasn't lying she looked at Cardinalkit... Er... Bloodkit. "Well then... His name is Bloodkit." Flamepelt meowed. "Yay!" Snakestar meowed happily. " I can see he has a great destiny before him!"
