At first, you don't know what's happening. All you know is that you're falling and that you dare not open your eyes. But you do and as soon as you do you realize you're in the water and you can't swim. That all you can do is watch the light above you fade away as you flail  around trying desperately to get up.

Then you realize that your lungs are twisting on themselves, trying to squeeze out that last bit of air. But there is no more air and your lung squeeze tighter and tighter until the pain is too much, you open your mouth and try to breath.

But the water only grows darker as you choke on the water in your lungs. Trying to get the new substance out. You can't think, you know you cannot breath-

Then the darkness creeps at the edges of your vision and you know it's over. You stop trying.

After that it's only sinking deeper and deeper and everything is getting darker and darker.

Then, nothing.
