Winter POV

I was siting in my room looking for a place for me and (Y/n) to have our wedding and I've narrowed it down to two different places. I then heard a knock on my window and I looked out and saw (Y/n) standing on the nose of a harrier (the one above) and he said 

"Come on let's go" I just looked at him wide eyed and said 

"How did you even get that thing?" 

"Your guys security sucks" he said and sat back down into the pilot's seat. I then stepped out onto the nose and a gust of wind nearly sent me falling down, fortunately (Y/n) caught me 

"Let's go" he said and put me in the copilot seat and we flew off. 

"So why did you really take this?" I asked him 

"Well, I got a job from some guy and he wants me to see if I can find any clues to Ozpin's current location" he said and what's left of Beacon cam into view. The Grimm dragon was still frozen on the top and the ground was covered in grimm. There were everything from Beowolfs to Goliaths walking around the former campus. 

"Where are we landing?' I asked him and he pulled it closer to the tower and he said 

"Right here" and he opened the cockpit and jumped out. I followed him and I took a good look at the dragon that was frozen still. 

"Hey Winter, look at this' he said and was holding a small golden crown and he set it on a ledge. I then turned at saw that some woman was also frozen and it appeared that what ever froze the dragon, froze this woman as well. 

"Hey Winter, down here" (Y/n) said looking down the elevator shaft. I then  walked over and he put his arm around my shoulder and said 

"This is where we first met" he then pulled out a flare and light it. 

"What are you doing with that?" I asked him and he dropped it down the shaft and we lost sight of it before it hit the ground 

"Well let's go down" he said and tugged on the elevator line and slid down it 'God, he really is an mercenary, but he's my mercenary' I thought as I slid down the rope behind him. When we got to the bottom we were in the room designed to hold the maiden's and we saw what was left of Amber 

"It's a shame that this happened" (Y/n) said walking around the room 

"Why are we in here?" I asked him 

"Well this is Ozpin's last known position and were looking for any clues to his location or destination" he said and turned on a control panel. I started looking t the walls which seemed to have scorch marks all over them and the floor was torn up 

"Got it" he said and pulled out the recordings for the security footage and all other relevant data 

"Time for us to leave" he said and shot the computer 

"Why did you do that?" 

"Standard procedure, if I forget anything we don't want it in the wrong hands" he said putting the drives on his belt. When we got back up to the surface he called in the harrier and it landed in front of us. Before we hopped in we had to deal with some Beowolf's. We quickly ended them and hopped back in the harrier and flew back. 

"What are you two doing!?" Ironwood said to us when we got back 

"Well metal boner, we were just retrieving some very valuable information" he said and gave him the drives  

"Fine and it's Ironwood" 

"Really? What did I say?" 

"You called him metal boner" I said to him 

"I don't understand how you don't see that, that and your name are the same thing" he said and put his arm around the generals shoulders. He just sighed and walked away 

"I thought you said this was for a client" I said to him 

"And he was the client" (Y/n) said and he then threw the keys to the harrier to a soldier and said 

"Park this for me" and we went back to his room. 

"Why do you call Ironwood that name?" I asked him and he just shrugged and said 

"I don't have any respect for him and it's his fault for all of this" 

"How?" 

"If he didn't bring his stupid robots our enemies wouldn't have anything to hack" he said and took off his armor and then laid on his bed 

"No offense to you, but the truth is I hated the Atlas army for a long time and I still do but the only reason I'm still here is you" he said and got back up and made me lay down with him. I felt my face get warm and I started blushing and I said 

"I found two different locations for the wedding and I still need to find out a date" and we then snuggled into each other and before I fell asleep I thought 

'How did this happen? One day Qrow is trying to stab me and two days later I met the guy of my dreams' and with that I fell asleep next to him.
