—KAI SEYMOUR—

Alpha Dylan slams his hand across the pale, already bruised skin of seven-year-old Kai Seymour. A loud whimper escapes his lips.

"Quiet, Omega!" Alpha Dylan snarls, punching the young male across the face, "Now make lunch!"

Kai whimpers and rises slowly, limping over to the kitchen. His body is littered with bruises and cuts, blood, and mud. Kai looks at the door to the outside world. To freedom. With a low growl, Kai breaks out into a run/limp. He uses his vampire speed and zips out of the pack grounds, the pack connection shattering like glass in an explosion. He runs, at a normal speed, for a couple of miles before running into someone. He has dark brown hair and blue eyes.

"What's a matter, young one?" He asks, his voice deep and soothing.

"H-Help m-me, ple-please. My na-name is Ka-Kai Seym-Seymour," Kai pleas.

"I'm Joe White, and I'm an Elder for the Supernatural Council. Come with me," the man, Joe, smiles, holding out his hand, which Kai gladly accepted.

"Nico," Scott Jones, leader of the Supernatural Council, demands.

Kai Seymour, or known with the Supernatural Council, Nico Black. His step-parent, Elder Joe White, came up with the name for the boy when they realized he was a super hybrid. To keep him protected, he came up with Nico Black.

"Yes, Elder Scott?" Kai bows.

"You have a new mission. You'll be using your vampire side to protect the CrystalLake Pack under your angel form," Elder Scott informs him.

"Yes, Elder Scott. When will I be leaving?" Kai asks.

"Right now. You'll be a Junior at Yellow Moon High School under the name of Nico Baker. You'll have your vampire scent on when you're in school but angel scent when you're protecting the pack," Elder Scott says.

"How long will this mission take?" Kai asks.

"However long you need, Nico," Elder Scott replies.

"Thanks, Elder Scott. I'll see you around," Kai bows, walking away to pack his stuff.

"I'm going to miss you, Kai," Joe frowns, wrapping his arm around the teen.

"I'm going to see you again, Joe," Kai chuckles.

"But still!" Joe whines.

"I'll see you again, and you can always visit as my grandfather or my father, Joe. I'll see you soon," Kai smiles, grabbing his stuff.

"Bye," Joe says.

"Bye, Joe," Kai smiles, walking out of the house and putting his stuff in the trunk.

He puts all his weapons in the trunk as well, under a bunch of clothing to hide the clinking of metal and steel.

Hours later, Kai arrives in Wisconsin. He pulls up into a nice house. It's a two-story house, on the main floor it has a kitchen, dining room, a bathroom, living room, and a guest bedroom. On the second floor are the master bedroom and master bathroom. There is a living room as well as an office. In the basement is a soundproof chamber with cells made out of silver. With a smile, Kai makes himself at home for the time he'll be here.

Kai takes in a deep breath and slowly releases it. The smell of werewolves and a few vampires flood his senses. He takes steps forwards into the school, just to be slammed against a locker.

"Excuse you," Kai sneers.

He doesn't need to act a certain way. He would if he was a pure-blooded vampire, but since he's more, then he doesn't need to. He just needs to change his scent. No one can shift their scent between human and their supernatural creature.

"Vampire," the male snarls, disgust in his voice.

"Alpha Xavier Wolfe of the CrystalLake Pack," Kai snaps back.

"And who are you?" Xavier demands, his Alpha voice laced in his words.

"Alpha demands don't work on me, Alpha. But my name is Nico Baker, vampire, and damn proud. Now, you either show me where the office is or get out of my way," Kai sneers, shoving Xavier off him.

Xavier sneers before his eyes glaze over. Kai rolls his eyes mentally. He's Mind-Linking his pack. How's he an Alpha when he Mind-Links in front of his potential enemy, a weakness! Kai slides his way into the Mind-Link and listens in.

-Of course, Alpha, but why?- Beta Samuel Zerbini asks.

-Because he is my mate,- Alpha Xavier snaps.

-Congratulations, Alpha,- Beta Samuel says.

Shit! Kai curses.

"You know, Alpha, you shouldn't Mind-Link in front of possible enemies," Kai sneers, "because it shows weakness."

"And how do you know this? I can snap back to reality in milliseconds," Alpha Xavier says.

"That's what the last Alpha said before I killed him while he was Mind-Linking for help," Kai smiles.

It's true, but the Alpha was harmful towards his pack. He got permission to do so from the Elder Council and Werewolf Council.

"Wh-What?" Alpha Xavier stutters.

"You'd be surprised. Now, I'm going to walk straight then take a left turn to the Main Office. Follow me, and you won't live to find out what I'll do to your pack, Alpha," Kai winks, brushing the Alpha's hands off him, with some hesitation, and walks around him.

-How'd he know where to go?- Gemma Ryan Peterson asks.

"I just do, bitches!" Kai shouts, flipping his middle finger up and turning the corner.

"How the fuck?!" Beta Samuel exclaims.

Alpha Xavier almost winces when a smirking Kai walks into his first class, English.

"Everyone, this is Nico Baker, tell us about yourself," the teacher, Mrs. Smith, says.

"I'm 17 years old and I moved here from Colorado because I wanted to move away from the place my mother passed. My father works all the time, so I moved here. Also, I'm taken," Kai winks at one of the girls that were staring at him intently.

Many of the girls groan because of that. That's because of his angel side of him that makes him look like he's... Well, an angel.

"Thank you, Mr. Baker, please sit down next to Al- Xavier," Mrs. Smith says.

Kai nods and walks over to Xavier and sits down.

"Hello, Alpha," Kai snickers.

"You don't call me that," Xavier growls lightly.

"Why? Is it because I'm a vampire or because I'm your mate?" Kai asks, tilting his head.

"Both," Xavier grits out.

"Aw, so call me Nico," Kai smiles, facing forwards.

"Now, who has taken what is mine?" Xavier growls at the thought.

"No one, I just hate the attention," Kai shrugs, his eyes scanning the room.

"So, you don't have a girlfriend?" Xavier asks.

"Nope. I'm gay and I've never had a girlfriend or boyfriend. I also never had my first kiss," Kai shrugs again.

He never did because he barely ever left his training and he didn't have time to have a relationship.

"So, I would be your first?" Xavier asks.

"Never said you'd be mine," Kai counters.

"Mr. Baker, give ten synonyms for the word imitate," Mrs. Smith demands.

Xavier opens his mouth to tell her off but is stopped by Kai's voice.

"Copy, mimic, emulate, simulate, impersonate, mock, satirize, caricature, parody, lampoon, parrot. Oops, I did eleven, going to suspend me?" Kai scowls.

"No, Mr. Baker. Please pay attention," Mrs. Smith says, slightly shocked, turning back to the class.

"I am," Kai snaps back.

"Don't take that tone with me! I am your teacher!" Mrs. Smith hisses.

Kai quirks a brow. Really? This bitch thinks she can scare him.

"And I am a minor-" a lie "-so you must show respect to me as well-" Kai is promptly cut off by an alarm.

"Intruder," Alpha Xavier hisses.

Everyone launches out of the classroom, which helps Kai blend through the crowd and into the forest as quickly as he can. He blocks the vampire scent and shifts to his angel form. Silver wings sprout from his back, gold lining the edges of the feathers. He then calmly walks through the forest to the school.

"Nico!" Alpha Xavier growls.

Guilt fills Kai, but he pushes it back down. For the sake of this mission and his pack.

"I am Malachi River, protector of the CrystalLake Pack. I am sent here by the Supernatural Council to protect them! Stand down, or suffer," Kai shouts.

"Pathetic! An angel sent to harm us? Don't make me laugh," a vampire laughs.

"Everyone changes, even the devil was an angel once," Kai winks, throwing daggers at the vampire's heart.

At first, everyone stills before a vampire roars in anger and starts fighting towards Kai. Kai looks around, flying to every werewolf of the CrystalLake Pack that needs help. He suddenly falls in front of Alpha Xavier, silver laced swords drawn. Just as this happens, a rogue wolf lunges at the two. Kai shoves the swords in front of him, the rogue getting cut by the sharp blades, the silver registering the wolf as a human.

"Thank you, Malachi," Alpha Xavier thanks.

"I will be in the shadows. Don't yell for help, I'll know," Malachi says, the swords vanishing and he flies up and into the woods, disappearing.

"Beta Sam! Find Nico Baker," Alpha Xavier demands.

"Yes, Alpha," Beta Samuel bows.

"No need, Alpha Xavier," Nico chuckles, walking up to the two.

"Where were you?!" Alpha Xavier demands.

"Somewhere you don't need to know. You may be my mate, but that doesn't give you a reason to control my life," Kai smiles, nodding at the Beta.

"You must be Nico Baker, I'm-" Beta Samuel starts.

"Beta Samuel Zerbini of the CrystalLake Pack. Mate is Cara Zerbini," Kai smirks.

"How do you-?" Beta Samuel starts.

"Gemma Ryan Peterson of the CrystalLake Pack mated to Maya Peterson. Delta James Mayfield, mate is Lily Mayfield. CrystalLake Pack's personal doctor is Dr. Willow Vail, mated to female Pack Warrior Autumn Vail. No need to introduce yourselves, I know all of you," Kai smiles.

"Who are you?" Beta Samuel growls.

This causes Alpha Xavier to growl back in warning. Kai just smirks.

"You will not growl at your Luna like that!" Alpha Xavier growls.

"Bu-But what about me?" Jessica Berman whines.

She's the pack slut of the pack. She tries, and 99% of the time success, in getting into another male's pants. It's sickening. Luckily, she hasn't done that to Xavier.

"You were never fit to be Luna," Xavier snaps, not even sparing her a glance.

"Besides, Werewolf Law #292 states that no Soon-to-be Alpha can become an Alpha of their pack with no mate or with the wrong mate. The only way the Alpha can become an Alpha is to have their true mate as their Luna. The mate cannot be rejected and forced into the Luna roll either, or the Werewolf Council has every right to exile the Alpha from the pack," Kai states calmly.

"How do you know about the Werewolf Laws, vampire?" Jessica growls.

"I know all Supernatural laws. Vampire, Werewolf, Fae, Angel, Witch, Dragon, even human. Do I need to go on? A law was tried to pass that stated all Alphas and/or Lunas need to know, at the bare minimum, all the Werewolf Laws. But, the law didn't pass. This would've been true for all leaders of individual leaders of all supernatural creatures. Vampires, Faes, Werewolves, Angels, Witches, Dragons, need I go on?" Kai asks.

"That doesn't explain why you know this," Jessica snaps.

"Because it's the right thing to do. Learn other's laws to know what you can and cannot do when in a crisis. That, and I show respect to the leaders. I've meet Alphas that show respect because I know the Werewolf Laws. I've meet witches that grant me things because I know their laws. I'm not saying all Supernatural creatures do this, but it still shows respect to their kind. Would you want another to know your laws? Or do you not even know your own?" Kai challenges.

"I know them! What kind of werewolf would I be if I didn't know my own laws?" Jessica scowls.

"Then what's Werewolf Law #148?" Kai questions.

"Simple, no Alphas are to abuse their power as Alpha," Jessica states in an 'I-know-what-I'm-talking-about' tone.

"That's Werewolf Law #16, and it's no Alphas or Lunas are to abuse their power as Alpha or Luna over their pack. If fail to do so, may they be stripped of their title. Werewolf Law #148 states that if an Alpha, Luna, Beta, Gemma, or Delta uses their said title tone to keep a werewolf from shifting to their wolf, they may be put to death or condemned to life as a human. This is because if a werewolf is kept from shifting into their wolf, their wolf part of them could lose control and shift. But the problem is the human part of them will be lost, dead. The werewolf would become a wolf, but highly dangerous and will kill like a rogue wolf. That's what makes a non-shifting werewolf so dangerous," Kai informs them, "and you, Jessica Berman, lied to me about knowing the Werewolf Laws. And under the Supernatural Law #239, I have the right of killing you for lying about knowing something of great importance."

"Wh-What?" Jessica stutters, fear on her face.

"That's a real law?" Gemma Ryan asks, walking up to them with Maya Peterson next to him.

"No, but it just shows that none of you know your supernatural laws," Kai says.

"Bloody vampire!" Jessica growls, making a move to shift.

"Jessica Berman, shift and attack me and I have the right to kill you. I've done nothing wrong to provoke you into fighting me. This is stated under the Supernatural Law #192," Kai states.

Perks of being raised with the Supernatural Council, you know all supernatural laws.

"That's not a real law!" Jessica hisses.

"It is, in fact, a law, Mss. Berman," Kai says.

"Liar!" Jessica growls.

"Jessica! Stop!" Alpha David Wolfe, Xavier's father, growls.

"Yes, Alpha David," Jessica bows, glaring at Kai, who bows at the previous Alpha in respect.

"Hello, Alpha David Wolfe," Kai greets.

"And who are you?" Luna Delilah Wolfe asks.

"I'm vampire Nico Baker, I do not belong to any den of vampires, Luna Delilah," Kai bows at her as well.

"No need to bow, dear. You are my son's mate, are you not?" Delilah asks.

"I am indeed," Kai confirms.

"Then you don't need to bow to me, nor my mate," Delilah says.

"It's the respectful thing to do. And it shows I mean no harm to you or your pack," Kai replies.

"You surprised me with your knowledge on our laws, Mr. Baker," David speaks up.

"I wanted to know the supernatural's laws so I know what I can and cannot do. To be respectful and to show I mean no harm in everywhere I go," Kai replies.

"I like your mate, Xavier," Delilah smiles.

"Thanks," Xavier blushes.

"You don't mind the fact that I am a vampire?" Kai asks.

"No! I don't know about the rest of the pack, but we certainly don't," Delilah replies.

"Thanks," Kai smiles.

"Bu-But-" Jessica stutters.

"Would you shut up?!" Xavier sneers.

"Xavier!" David scowls.

"How old are you, Nico?" Jessica suddenly asks.

"I'm actually only 19 years old," Kai counters.

"19?" Delilah asks.

"Yes," Kai confirms.

"You're a pretty young vampire," David says.

"I am, yes," Kai confirms, again.

"How are you so young yet so... informed?" Jessica asks.

"Because I don't shove my ass up in the air 24/7. I put my face into reading, not another ass," Kai retorts.

Delilah and Xavier snort while David's face goes emotionless, trying to hide his laughter.

"How dare you!" Jessica screeches, causing Kai to flinch.

He does have better hearing than any of the werewolves.

"It's true," Kai shrugs, "I have a question for you, actually."

"And what is it?" Jessica sneers.

"How're not pregnant?" Kai asks.

"How dare you even suggest that!" Jessica shouts.

"Wait! That means you are?!" Kai exclaims.

"What! No!" Jessica shouts, her face turning red.

"Your blush says otherwise~," Kai teases.

"Will you shut up?!" Jessica screams.

"No, you don't control what I do, now do you?" Kai counters.

"You don't do that either!" Jessica says, her hand flying to greet Kai's face.

Kai moves quickly, and in the quickest time thought possible, Kai has Jessica's arm behind her back as she cries out in pain.

"You will not slap me, understand me?" Kai growls.

"Y-Yes, L-Luna," Jessica stutters.

Kai releases her and takes a step back. Jessica whips around to face the Alphas and Lunas.

"And you will not attack your Luna, or you will have consequences," Luna Delilah hisses.

"Y-Yes, Luna Delilah," Jessica whimpers.

"How'd you move that fast?" Xavier asks.

"I'm a vampire, Alpha David, I move faster than a werewolf does. Only certain vampires can go this fast, and only because they train their speed," Kai replies.

"Right, forgot about that," David nods.

"It's fine," Kai replies.

Something vibrates in Kai's pocket. His phone lights up once it's out of the pocket with the called I.D:

"Who is it?" Xavier asks.

"My grandfather," Kai says without hesitation, clicking accept, "Hello, grandpa."

"Nico! How're you doing?" Joe asks, going with the 'grandfather' act.

"Good, how're you doing without me?" Kai replies.

"Lonely. Your father still doesn't talk to me," Joe says.

"I found my mate," Kai says.

"... Your mate?" Joe pauses.

"Yes, his name is Alpha Xavier Wolfe of the CrystalLake Pack," Kai informs him.

"Well, I'll be meeting him tomorrow," Joe says.

"You're coming here?!" Kai grins.

"Yeah. I miss you, Nico," Joe replies.

"For how long?" Kai asks.

"Longest I can stay is two weeks," Joe answers.

"Well, we'll have to make the most of your stay then," Luna Delilah speaks up.

"Who's that, if I may ask," Joe asks.

"That's Luna Delilah Wolfe, Xavier's mother. Her mate is Alpha David Wolfe, and Xavier's father," Kai answers.

"Can't wait to meet them," Joe replies.

Kai mentally rolls his eyes, he'll be going through their files before tomorrow.

"Well, I'll see you tomorrow then. Bye grandpa!" Kai says.

"Bye, Nico, see ya soon," Joe replies.

Kai removes the phone from his ear and hangs up.

"What's your grandfather's name?" David asks.

"Joe Black," Kai replies.

"Would you like to eat diner with us?" Delilah offers.

"I would love to, thank you, Luna Delilah," Kai smiles.

"Please, it's just Delilah, same goes for my mate. You're family now," Delilah smiles.

"Come, I want to show you something," Xavier says, grabbing Kai's wrist and pulling him to the forest.

"What is it?" Kai asks.

Xavier lets go of Kai's wrist then starts stripping. Kai's eyes widen as he turns away, a blush forming on his face. Xavier, now wearing nothing, shifts to his wolf. His wolf is a midnight black with a silver moon over his left eye.

"Wow, I love your wolf," Kai says, getting down on his knees.

The wolf nudges Kai with his muzzle. The vampire chuckles and pets Xavier's head, a smile gracing his features. Maybe, Kai thinks, maybe Xavier could help me find true love. . .
