I sat down at my desk, tapping my fingers gently against it, scrolling through my laptop. It was my day off, and I wanted to enjoy it by just relaxing and going through some Youtube videos.

I was scrolling, and a title caught my eye.

'NERF TRICKSHOT COMPILATION 11'

People are still trying to make videos about trickshots? It's getting a lot of views to, and it got uploaded by... Chase Brody?

Why did that name sound familiar? I clicked on the video, and was greeted by Chase standing right in front of the camera.

"Yo, what up, Chase Brody here!" The video played.

My eyes widen. Holy shit, it was actually Chase. It had been years, hell, it had to be at least a decade since we last talked.

I clicked on his channel. He had nearly 10 million subs, and had like a million views per video. He was really successful.

I clicked on the videos tab, and looked at the newest video. My mood immediately dropped when I saw the title 'Taking a hiatus'

What had happened? He looked so happy in all the videos. Maybe he was burnt out? I had to look and see. I clicked on the video.

"Hey, everyone. So, I'll be taking a long hiatus from all these, types of videos, and Youtube all together. Some rocky stuff has been happening with my wife, and we decided it was best to split. When all that gets sorted, I'll be back. Trust me, I won't leave you all in the dust!"

I frowned. I just found one of my old close friends and discovered he is pretty successful, but now I've discovered he's going through a divorce. 

I really wanted to talk to him again. It had been so long. Would he even remember me at all?

I went to his about page, and found his email. Worth a shot. I opened my Gmail up and went to send a new email.

'Hey Chase! This is Y/N L/N! I don't know if you remember me, but I just want you to know that I'm really proud of you! If you remember me, email me back!'

Sent! I exhaled, hoping that I would get some sort of response.

A few hours later..

After watching a few of his videos, making myself some food and all that, I came back to my laptop to see I had received an email!

Sure enough, it was from Chase! I clicked on it.

'Yo Y/N! Is it really you? That's dope that you found me. I'd love to talk with you again!!'

At the bottom of the email was his phone number. He really did remember me! I smiled, hurrying off to grab my phone.

Seems like we were gonna start talking again.
