After a long walk and a phone call to my parents, we finally arrive at Sean's house. He quickly unlocked the door and walked in, I followed behind him.

We both sat on the couch, finally able to take an actual breath after all this chaos that we just experienced.

"Holy shit, that was, certainly interesting." I commented, trying to lighten the mood before I turned to look at Sean.

He was, staring up at the ceiling, seemed to be in a heavy zoned out state of mind. I tilted my head, letting him think for a minute before I gently nudged him.

"Hey, you alright?" I asked.

"Yeah, uh, sorry, I was just thinking." He said.

I let out a hum and slowly sat up. "What're you thinking about? Besides what just happened?" I asked. He looked over and me and sat up, thinking for a moment before getting up and heading to the kitchen. "You thirsty?" He suddenly asked me.

He was, suddenly dodging the question. I got up as well, walking over to him. "Why are you ignoring my question? Is there something you don't wanna talk about?" I asked.

He was facing away from me, letting out a sigh before he slowly turned around. "I've been thinking, ever since a few days ago, and just now, about something." He said.

"Well, what is it?" I asked.

He looked at me before speaking. "I've been thinking about you." He said.

I blushed a bit, smiling a bit. "Aw, that's cute Sean." I said.

"It's, in a certain way though.." He said, not saying very many details.

It was silence for a bit before I spoke up. "Like, in a romantic way?"

He looks back at me. "...Yes. In a romantic way. Ever since you saved me from that transformation, I've been thinking about you. I'm, in love with you. That's, why I asked you to go out to the restaurant without exactly saying that it was a date. I feared that you wouldn't end up coming if I asked you on a date." He said, biting his lip as he revealed all of this.

My eyes widened, and I blushed. Me, saving him from that transformation made him fall for me? Maybe there was more to it, but that seemed to be the clear definitive reason as to why to fall in love with me.

"I..." I began, the look on his face expecting some sort of rejection.

"I think I'm in love with you too Sean." I said. His face lit up, smiling.

"Wait, really?" He asked.

"Yeah. I mean, you're a nice guy, you're nice to me at least, you're fun to be around, and you're attractive. What is there to hate?" I said, also smiling.

"So, you're willing to give this whole, dating thing a shot?" He asked, smiling.

I smiled even more, stepping closer. "Yes, I'm willing to give it a chance."

His smile somehow got bigger, now stepping closer. "May I kiss you?" He asked.

I chuckled and nodded. He leaned in, and for the first time, we kissed.

This was the beginning of a new adventure in my life, in more ways than one, and I was ready for it.
