The Weekend Write-In is a weekly challenge, undertaken by a few stalwarts. The object is to write a story in 500 words that bears some resemblance to a theme. I say 'some'. In many cases, the connection is only tangential, or even downright bizarre in nature. But, it sharpens the claws.
