Sitting upon the shore
She raises her weary, battered head
As rain begins to pour

I've seen so many battles
Too many friends go down
I've seen too many stumble dead
And flung across the ground

A painful sigh stills the sky
Of memories full of fear
And down my cheeks I finally shed
The first of painful tears

The anguish blurs my vision black
The feelings leave me blind
But instead of seeing the rigid red
A peaceful sea I find

A calming sea upon the waves
Of fire I'll dream no more
And with proclaiming words I said
