Dripping down the sides
Wet, the grey light shows
Drooling mouth; it opens wide
The cold wind causing it to moan

Sun cannot reach the air inside
Light remains lost to its heart
In it pale things know to hide
From the world that lays apart

Away from the sky outside
Lost to the black caves beneath
Wandering the maze you'll find
Naught but darkness, bones and teeth

Wrapped in wraiths of snow and rain
Hidden from the outer realm
Hail that brings only pain
And sorrow at its helm

It snares the lost and broken
Leads them into their deaths
Their names never again to be spoken
And stops the breathing of breaths
