Firelight.
Night descended swiftly on the planet of Jaroon and Ezra was still unsure of what to do. Sighing, Ezra sat down on the houses' hard wooden floor and went into a meditation position to contact his Master.
"Master."
"Apprentice, why have you contacted me?"
"I'm on a deserted planet that is the home of many rebels. The leaders' here train rebels."
"Interesting. What is the name of that planet?"
"Jaroon, Master. Their leader is an exiled Jedi called Neeran."
"Then the lead was true. Remain put, we'll be stopping by there soon enough my apprentice."
"Yes, Master."
There mental link was severed and Ezra reopened his eyes. The darkness was slowly creeping up on him and he needed to go find the crew before they became suspicious.
Standing up, Ezra grabbed the blankets that sat beside him and walked out of the slightly crumbling house. The sun shone through the trees surrounding the village and blinded Ezra for a moment before he got used to the slightly brighter scene.
"Ezra, are you coming?" called someone from behind him.
Ezra turned and saw the girl Neeran had spoken with earlier, Kyipen, standing there.
"Going where?" asked Ezra.
"To the fire," replied Kyipi. "It's a time for everyone to take turns in telling stories."
"I'm coming," replied Ezra. 'This is just what I've been waiting for. A can't pass this up.'
As Ezra began to follow Kyipi to the fire pit, she turned to walk backwards and asked Ezra,
"Where'd you find them?"
"Find what?"
"Those Kyipens'. I've haven't seen them since I was five," said Kyipi.
"Neeran gave them to me along with this picture," replied Ezra, showing Kyipi the picture.
"Oh, there's mum, dad, Aunty Mira, Uncle Ephriam, Shakkuri-ni and you," said Kyipi, turning around the right way and naming all the people in the photo.
"How's Neeran and that boy you're dad?" asked Ezra, confused by the fact that they all looked nothing alike and yet were somehow still family.
"They're just our figure head mum and dad," replied Kyipi. "Neeran and Zach look after us so we call them our parents."
Kyipi then saw Neeran and ran up to her saying, "Can I light the fire tonight?"
"Yes you can," said Neeran handing Kyipi the lighter.
"Yay!" exclaimed Kyipi, activating the lighter and setting the wood on fire.
The wood caught fire in a small flame that quickly burst into a cackling fire. All around the several village huts, several children and teenagers from each hut came to the fire and gathered around. Ezra slowly walked up and noticed Sabine, Zeb, Kanan and Hera were all there as well.
"Come over here," whispered Kyipi, pulling Ezra over to one of the logs that surrounded the fire pit.
"Okay, everyone's here now," said Neeran.
"Can we have stories now?" asked a little girl with long red brown hair tied back in two plaits.
"Not yet Nina," replied Neeran. "First, we're going to hear something from our visitors."
Everyone seemed to listen intently.
"We're going to be listening to them tell us something about themselves, to help us get to know our new friends," said Neeran, turning to the crew of the Ghost.
"So who wants to go first?"
