"I'm guessing you're not coming back?" Jungkook asked through the phone.
"I'm not. I'm really sorry, Jungkook." I frowned.
"It's okay. Just do what you do best and make Yoongi happy."
"Will do," I said, smiling. "I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?"
"Alright. Love you, honey bunny."
"You too." I said, laughing at his words. "Do you want to eat something?" I asked Yoongi.
"No, I'm fine."
"Okay." It was silent but it was a comfortable silence. I looked over at Yoongi and my eyes widened. He was shaking and his face was scrunched up, like he was holding in a cry. "Do it." Was all he needed to hear before his tears rolled down his cheeks as he sobbed.
This was the first time I see him full on crying and I hated it. I hated every bit of it. Since he was standing, it was easy for me to run over to him and hug the daylights out of him. He instantly hugged me back. I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him closer to me as his arms, which were around my waist, pulled me closer to him. If that was possible.
"Let it all out." I said. He cried into my shoulder.
"I don't know what to do with him, princess." And he still calls me that, despite what he's going through.
"You'll know, don't worry about it. After every storm, there's a rainbow, right? Everything is going to be okay in the end, Yoongi. I know it will." I said.
"What if it doesn't? What if it's just a bigger storm after this small one? I don't know if I'll be able to handle it."
"You'll be able to handle it, Yoongi. I know you will. You'll be able to handle it and get over it and I'll be by your side the whole way till the end. I promise."
"Thank you so much." He said. "Fuck. Thank you so much, princess." He sobbed.
"You don't have to thank me, Yoongi. I want to do this. I want to see you happy. I wanna see your genuine smile. I don't want to see you cry ever again because you're not happy and that's making me sad. Let it all out and fight till the end because one day you'll get there and you're gonna feel fucking awesome."
"I don't know what else to say other than thank you." I could feel him smiling through his words.
"Smile. I know you're smiling right now so keep it." I pulled away, confirming that he was, in fact, smiling.
"What will I do without you?" He mumbled, caressing my cheek. I smiled and looked down. He hugged me one more time before he let go completely. "I feel much better right now."
"I told you." I smiled. He smiled back at me. "Come on, I bet you're tired."
"Are we going to your room?" He asked as we walked up the stairs. I nodded.
"You're tired so you need to sleep."
"I can go home, you know."
"You're in no shape to drive home. Come on, it's not like you'll die if you sleep here."
"Okay." He mumbled. He laid down on my bed and I put the cover on him. "But I can't sleep."
"Why not?" I asked, furrowing my eyebrows.
"I have insomnia."
**
"How did you manage to sleep when you were at your dad's?" I asked, sitting beside him.
"My mom used to talk with me until I fell asleep. But then when she passed away, I had nobody to talk to so I basically stayed up days straight until I passed out." He mumbled.
"Does music help?" I asked.
"Not every time." He said. "The only thing that always works is talking. Through that, I can fall asleep."
"What about when you're at Jimin's?"
"He talks to me." That made me smile. "It works under fifteen minutes, really."
"Talk to me." I said.
"What?"
"Talk to me. I want you to finally fall asleep peacefully. You need it."
"No, it's alright-"
"Talk to me, Min Yoongi." I rolled my eyes.
"What do you want me to say?"
"Tell me about yourself. Anything."
"Well, there was this one time when I was five. I remember my mom used to force us to help her out with watering the flowers around the house. Both my dad and I hated it but did it nevertheless because you could never say no to my mom. I broke her favorite vase by accident because it was fucking taller than I was. It wasn't my fault." He laughed. I smiled. "I blamed it on my dad. And she never knew it was me all along. Whenever my dad did something wrong, she would bring it up and I would laugh because he didn't do anything." It was a simple memory but it made him happy and that made me smile.
"That's mean." I laughed. "And you call me the mean one."
"You are," He smirked. "What about you? Tell me a memory of yours when you were little."
"Okay, I told you about Jinhwan, my brother, right?" I said. He nodded. "Okay so we were playing football once, well he was playing football, I didn't know shit about what I was doing." He laughed. "All I know was to throw the ball and catch it."
"Smart."
"Oh shut up," I smiled. "This one time, he told me to catch it from far away but guess where it landed?"
"Your face?" He guessed.
"No. My nuts." I cringed. Yoongi's eyes widened. "Yup, it landed right in the bananas. It hurt like a bitch, okay?"
"Well shit." Yoongi laughed.
"I couldn't feel my private area for a week."
"Oh come on, I bet it wasn't that bad."
"It was that bad! Imagine your balls getting fucking crushed then cut then pulled off then glued back on then kicked and hammered by a hammer?"
"Fucking hell, that's torture." He said, throwing a pillow at me. "I can't get the image of that out of my head now, thanks!"
"No problem." I smiled smugly.
"You draw?" He asked, looking at my walls.
"Yeah," I smiled.
"How'd you start to like it? You draw really well, by the way."
"Jinhwan used to adore drawing. But then he got introduced to football so I said, why not try drawing? I tried it and then figured it was actually fun and not boring. So I started drawing almost every day and now, well, here I am." I said, pointing to my walls.
"You should try doing a mural."
"A mural?"
"Yeah, it'd look really cool. We could also go spray painting at night."
"But that's illegal."
"Who said someone had to know?" He smirked.
"No, I'm not getting caught."
"You won't get caught, you're with me."
"Can you spray paint?"
"Where do you think all those paintings came from on the walls around the neighborhood?"
"That was all you?!" My eyes widened as he nodded. "Your works are fucking amazing."
"They're nothing but random blotches of colors."
"Still." I shrugged.
We kept talking about basically anything you could think of until Yoongi slowly fell asleep. I smiled at the sight and fixed the duvet on him so he wouldn't get a cold. I turned off the lights and left the room, leaving the door slightly closed but not all the way. My parents were home but they were already sleeping so that was great for me since I didn't have to answer any questions. I took the blanket and the pillow from the guest room and went to the living room, making my bed. I laid down on the big couch and pulled the blanket on me, instantly falling asleep.
