four.

The drive to Yugyeom's workplace was about twenty minutes long, which was full of tension and awkwardness - mainly from the brunette. Jungkook hadn't a clue on what he should've said to the group of seven or what to do. He was put in a strange situation out of the blue and he hadn't a clue of exactly what to believe. On one end, he could believe that the group were the characters from his story. On the other end, they could be intruders. He still didn't know what to believe and he was even more confused with how he allowed himself to get into a vehicle with seven people he didn't know - or did know.

Upon reaching the place Yugyeom worked, the group exited the car, following behind Jungkook. While the brunette didn't approve of the company, he wasn't going to reject them on following him, solely because he didn't want the group to cause trouble or somehow manage to hurt themselves in the process - if they were indeed the characters from his story.

Jungkook reached the doors to the small café his friend worked at, the group of seven extremely close behind him. He rolled his eyes at the group before opening the door, a small bell dinging to signal that someone walked into the shop.

The café wasn't all that busy on that day, the only people there being a couple of people whom looked as they were on small dates or something similar to that. Jungkook recognized two of the people as acquaintances of Yugyeom, the other people being complete strangers to him. That of course, was expected since the brunette mainly kept to himself and hadn't visited the café as often as he used to do.

The brunette walked up to the counter where a boy with dark brown hair was standing behind it, seeming to be talking to the two people he recognized from a short time ago. "Hi Yugyeom," Jungkook gave a short wave to the dark brown haired boy once he approached the counter.

Yugyeom turned his gaze to the brunette, a wide grin etching its way onto his lips. "Hi Kookie, I was wondering when you'd show up here again," the dark haired boy let out a short laugh, leaning his elbows on the counter for support for his chin.

With the café being nearly empty, Yugyeom didn't really have to focus much with what he was doing or if anyone was entering the shop. After all, the little bell would let off a little ding if anyone walked in and needed the boy's attention. So, at that moment, he was free to talk with his friend.

"Who's all of your friends?" Yugyeom asked upon noticing the group of seven that seemed to crowd around Jungkook. "I don't remember you being a social butterfly, you're more like a worm that stays in its dirt," the dark haired boy laughed at his own joke, the two boys beside him joining in.

Jungkook crossed his arms over his chest, his eyes rolling at his friend. "They're just some out-of-town friends. They showed up out of the blue earlier so now they're stuck with me until they leave again," the brunette lied, not knowing exactly what to say to the dark haired boy. After all, how was he supposed to say they could either be his story's characters or a bunch of intruders in-need of mental help?

Yugyeom nodded his head in understanding.

"So, how have you been, Gyeom?" Jungkook asked, leaning his side against the counter. "It's been such a long time, I feel like we forgot everything about each other," the brunette joked, earning a short laugh from the dark haired boy.

The group of seven stood, crowded around Jungkook awkwardly as he was talking to his friend that none of them knew. No one from the group had a clue of what to say or what to do in the situation they were placed in, so they chose to stay quiet and listen on as Jungkook continued chatting with his friend that went by the name 'Gyeom.'

"Pretty good actually," the dark haired boy let a wide grin etch its way onto his lips. "Just recently got into a relationship - last week I think - and everything's been pretty great with them so far."

One of the words caught the brunette off, causing him to raise an eyebrow in confusion. "Them?" He asked, making sure he heard correctly. He didn't want to assume anything and definitely wasn't against it if his friend was dating two people, whom were in-turn dating each other.

Yugyeom gave a light nod of his head before pointing one of his fingers at the two boys standing at the counter beside him. "I've been dating these two for a little over a week. The one with black hair is Jackson and the one with blonde hair is Kunpimook. I know it's hard to say, so he just likes being called BamBam," the dark haired boy grinned widely at the duo.

Jungkook looked between his friend and the two boys he was dating, carefully looking back and forth. If they were in a relationship, then they would be able to help him get his two main characters - if they even were his characters - in love so he could finish his book. After all, the brunette was set on finishing the romance novel as soon as he could. Especially since he wasn't very comfortable with the seven just staying at his house without him knowing who they were.

"Hey could you guys help me with something then?" Jungkook asked, the idea of getting the redhead and ginger together with the help of Yugyeom and his boyfriends popping into his mind.

Yugyeom removed his gaze from his boyfriends and turned it to Jungkook, raising an eyebrow at him. "What do you need help with and why does it involve our relationship?" He asked, not exactly sure where his friend was going with the topic.

Jungkook leaned over the counter so he was close enough to whisper to Yugyeom, so the others couldn't hear - although it didn't matter whether they heard or not. "I'm trying to get two of my - uh friends, together and I need help with it since I'm not the best with romance and things like that. So, could you help?"

Almost immediately, the dark haired boy shook his head, removing himself from the counter when he heard the bell dinging - signaling someone had just walked into the café. "I can't help you get two people together if they don't want it, Kookie. I'm sorry," the dark haired boy apologized, slightly frowning at his friend. "But I have work to get back to so I can't talk now, if you want you can wait at a table or what not but I have to get back to work."

Jungkook sighed aloud.

"It's alright Gyeom, thanks anyway. And I'll just be on my way, I have to talk to my out-of-town friends back at the house anyways, I'll see you later," Jungkook turned around to walk away, before turning to look back at the dark haired boy. "Oh and congrats on you guys' relationship."

A rosy colored blush dusted its way onto the dark haired boy's cheeks, causing the brunette to let out a short chuckle. Jungkook turned around once again and exited the café, the group of seven following in suit.

"They seemed to like each other a lot," Taehyung spoke once everyone from the group were out of the café. "Isn't it just beautiful? Romance and love is such a beautiful thing, everyone deserves to experience it, right Jungkookie?"

Jungkook ignored the fact Taehyung called him by a nickname he told him not to call him by - multiple times - and just shrugged his shoulders. He wouldn't have a clue about that and was positive he never would, since he never went out enough to actually get involved with someone or even develop feelings for someone in the slightest.

"All of that romance talk is bull, Taehyung," Kaesi spoke up, partially shocking the brunette - mainly because she had been silent nearly the entire day. "Romance only come to those who are likable enough. Like, you'll have it easy for you since you're such a likable person. Others-," the redhead let out a short sigh "-others do not. It's only beautiful to those who are worthy enough to receive it."

With that being her final word, the redhead got into Seokjin's van and sat in the way back - away from everyone else. The rest of the group piled in shortly afterwards, all acting as if Kaesi hadn't just exploded a minute ago. Jungkook glanced back at the girl, curious about her overall. Her character wasn't designed to be such an emotional person, she was created as more of a coldhearted boyish character.

Jungkook sighed, his head starting to hurt again from all of the thinking. So many things were running through his mind and he hadn't a clue on what to do with them. Everything all seemed to be a jumbled mess that he didn't know how to fix.
