seven.

The morning soon came, little bits of the sun's rays shining through Jungkook's curtains, lighting up the room. Few birds were chirping outside, signaling that it was morning and time to start the day.

Jungkook's eyes fluttered open, a small yawn escaping past his lips as he sat up in his bed. With the back of his hand, he rubbed his tired eyes as another small yawn erupted from the boy. He stretched his arms up in the air, letting out a content sigh once he was fully awake. He placed his pillow on the right side of him before standing up from the bed and turning towards it.

His eyes widened a fraction as he noticed the blonde who had been all cuddled up in a faded grey blanket. Jungkook was about to freak out and yell at the blonde for entering his room and sleeping him, only for him to stop once he remembered he allowed Taehyung to stay in his room for the night. The brunette sighed at himself, shaking his head at the actions he did last night. Although, he was grateful that the blonde stayed on his side of the bed and didn't try anything on him - for all he knew at least.

Jungkook walked to the other side of the bed, careful not to be loud and wake the sleeping blonde. Once he was on the side of the bed where Taehyung lay, he grabbed a spare blanket from the bed and placed it over the blonde, who looked a little cold. The brunette watched as Taehyung snuggled into the blanket placed over his shoulders, a small smile tugging at his lips.

He turned towards his bedroom door and carefully exited the room - making sure not to make too much noise so the blonde could continue sleeping. As the brunette exited the room, he slowly closed the wooden door so it wouldn't creak too loudly. He then turned and made his way down the hallway towards the kitchen to make himself some coffee or get another cup of water like yesterday.

As Jungkook reached the end of the hall, a scent of something sweet filled his nose. He rounded the corner - and much to his surprise - Seokjin and Kaesi were in the kitchen, doing what seemed like preparing a breakfast of some sort. The brunette walked past the living room and into the kitchen, only for his assumption to be confirmed.

Seokjin was in the midst of flipping pancakes while Kaesi was at the counter, stirring some eggs together. Neither had noticed Jungkook's presence - which didn't bother him in the slightest - because he was in his own mind at the moment. He was confused at the how the two were cooking something for breakfast when he barely had food and shocked at the fact the two of them could cook. He didn't remember adding that as a characteristic of the two.

"Oh, good morning Jungkook-ah!" Seokjin exclaimed, giving a little nod of the head as he noticed the clueless-looking brunette. "I hope you don't mind that Kaesi and I are making breakfast, we went out earlier to grab some things to cook while you all were still asleep."

Jungkook's mouth formed an 'o' shape at the realization the two went out earlier to get some food from the grocery store. How they knew where to go, the brunette didn't know, but he decided not to question it. The only question on his mind was what that strong, sweet smell was and where it was coming from.

"Something smells sweet," the brunette decided to confront the two about the scent. "What exactly is it?"

Kaesi took a quick glance at the brunette before she stopped stirring the eggs in the bowl. "They're cinnamon rolls, both yours and Hoseok's favorite things," the redhead pointed towards the oven. "And I know how they're your favorite because you tend to eat them when writing about us."

Jungkook only gave a nod of his head, his attention directed towards the coffee maker he owned. If they bought some groceries, then they must've gotten some coffee - since he did make six out of the seven love coffee. The only odd ball liked tea instead, and that was the redhead. Jungkook opened a cabinet, hoping to see his favorite coffee mix on the shelf. Much to his delight, there was.

He grabbed the brew and put it in the coffee maker, waiting for it to be done. While he waited, he leaned himself against the counter, thinking of something to say. Of all times, then would've been the best time to talk about getting the main two together, but he didn't know how to start that conversation off. Should he be upfront and ask her? Or slowly get into the topic of relationships?

"What's on your mind, Jungkook-ah?" Seokjin asked upon seeing the dazed brunette. He was in the midst of putting the pancakes on a large plate when he noticed the brunette who looked like his mind was elsewhere.

Jungkook snapped out of his thoughts, his gaze falling on the pinkette whom was staring intently at him, waiting for an answer. "Oh, just about how to get Hoseok and Kaesi together, to finish my story and all."

That sentence earned a fake laugh from the redhead in the room.

"What's so funny?" Jungkook asked, focusing his attention on the redhead who was in the middle of putting the eggs in one of the pans.

Kaesi simply shook her head, a small frown etching its way onto her lips. If only it was as easy as it was when the story was being wrote. The redhead knew that Jungkook needed to get her and the ginger together, but it was never going to happen and she felt bad for the brunette who only wanted to finish his book. That, of course, isn't the redhead's fault in the slightest.

"Don't get your hopes up on getting us together," Kaesi side-glanced at the brunette. "It's never going to happen and that's all there is to it. I'm sorry but you're just going to have to write me as a different character or something because whatever I am now is not what Hoseok would want in someone."

Jungkook rose an eyebrow at the redhead, his mouth opening to ask what she meant, only for the pinkette to cut off whatever words he was trying to get out.

"To put it simply, Hoseok doesn't like how boyish she is - he only sees her as a guy friend like the rest of us," Seokjin frowned before walking over to the girl, leaning his head against her shoulder. "She doesn't really like talking about it, but she's like a sister to me so it's easy for her to open up to me."

Jungkook only gave a small nod of his head.

"I'm sorry Kaesi, if I would've known then maybe I could've-"

The redhead quickly shook her head, her glasses almost falling off in the process. She lifted her gaze to meet Jungkook's, a saddened smile on her lips. "It's not your fault, Jungkook. You made me as you wanted, there's no way I can change that. My feelings aren't going to come between the friendship I have with him." She moved her gaze to the little window that lead into the living room, her gaze falling on the ginger who was in the midst of playing a video game with Jimin.

"Kaesi-"

The redhead quickly removed her gaze from Hoseok, her main focus on the eggs in the pan that she was in the midst of mixing around. "Breakfast is almost done and I'm sure your coffee is, just go sit down and I'll let you know when everything is done."

Jungkook opened his mouth once again to speak to the girl, only for him to close it back up. He didn't want to say the wrong thing to the girl so he only let out a sigh, turning his attention back to the coffee he was making - which was indeed done. He grabbed a mug from the open cabinet, closing it afterwards. He took the pot off of its stand and poured some coffee into his mug.

He set the pot back down and added some cream in it before turning around and exiting the kitchen, a bit of guilt filling his chest. He didn't mean to write the girl the way he did. But because of that, the girl won't get the chance to be with the person she has feelings for.

That brought a lot more drama than he ever thought.
