Meaghan's POV

3 weeks later

I quit my job at the cafe. That means Josh also quit. I finished because I had to work the cash alot. I hate talking and Mason (owner and manager) knows that! I am just too shy and to be honest, I dont like the way how I sound. Josh always comforted me when I got flashbacks from my past. He always told me that I have a beautiful voice and he could talk to me all day and every day. I still don't think so. So I quit and now, Im going to talk even less than how I normally do.

"Hey Meaghan!" Josh exclaimed. "Taylor, Liam, and Niall are here!" I just nodded my head.

"Hi Meg!" Taylor said as Liam sat down and put Taylor on his lap. She giggled. I looked down. I couldn't help but be a bit jealous over the cute couple. I never did have a relationship before. Okay, thats a lie, Niall and I dated for like 3 months. I broke it off because I didn't really understand what love is or what its like. After all, I am only 18. Niall is 20. Niall understood. We are still very close friends, just closer than all of our friends.

I am still looking for the one girl, or guy. Even though I dont understand love, all I know is that they have to care for me and I'll care for them.

"Have you ever talked to Sofie since when she gave you her number?" Niall asked sitting across from me in a chair.

"Not really." I mumbled.

"Have you even talked to her at all?" Liam asked. I nodded my head.

"Invite her over someday!" Taylor exclaimed. I shrugged.

"Or out on a date." Josh mumbled. I looked up at him and gave him a death glare. He put his arms up in serender. I weakly smiled and looked down. Then my phone vibrated. I fished it out of my pocket and read the text.

I bit my lip and texted back.

Shit! I did! No that sounded mean! Its just I never actually talked to her and- erg!

And that is how the doorbell rang and found a fimilar, but beautiful girl standing on my door step.
