The village was preparing for the fire nation. Aang was gone and Katara was sulking while helping work with Sokka to get the villagers in a semi-safe place. She was remembering the day her mother was taken from her, she had been thinking about it ever since she saw that fire-nation ship with Aang. But something else was trying to make itself present in her mind but she just couldn't for the life of her remember what her mind was trying to remember.

   Pretty soon there was an explosion and everyone turned to look in horror. Sokka was standing on the snow wall of their village and was wearing "war paint" that really just made him look like an idiot. The ship appeared a minute later through the fog and was heading a straight coarse for Sokka who was stuck in place in fear as it got closer. The villagers had started running around and screaming trying to get inside. When the ship looked like it was about to run over Sokka,who was prepared to give a wack with his trusty boomerang, the ship stopped to a halt and the wall he was standing on gave way and slid him back a couple of feet creating a snowbank. 

   The villagers came back out to watch out of curiosity, when the ship started to smoke from the front and then drop open the ramp. when the smoke settled there was a teenager boy in fire nation armor and a scar walking down the ramp, a small dog-like creature walking stiffly next to him, he was also followed by a bunch of fire nation soldiers. All of them not looking friendly in the slightest. Before they even reached the bottom of the ramp Sokka charged them with a spear, Which the teenage boy simply kicked out of the way, and also kicked the user into the snow off to the side of the ramp.

    Zuko looked at the small crowd in front of him, searching for his prize. When he didn't see what he was looking for, he looked at the crowd of women and children and asked, 

  "Where are you hiding him?" He waited for response but when he saw the confused looks on their faces he grabbed the old woman in front of him and said, "He'd be about this age master of all elements. When the still didn't say anything, he threw the old woman back to the crowd and sent a wave of fire towards them. They all screamed and stumbled a back a bit in fear. "I know your hiding him!" He said becoming agitated. 

    At that moment the annoying boy with the boomerang tried to attack him again, by running behind him screaming, trying to bash Zuko in the head with the boomerang. Zuko simply ducked flipping Sokka over as he did so. When Sokka landed Zuko threw fire at him but it was dodged, and retaliated with the boomerang being threw at him. He barely dodged  and scowled at Sokka who glared back. 

  "Show no fear!" one of the children said throwing Sokka a spear which he caught easily, he then charged Zuko again who caught it with his arm guards slicing the spear the head of the spear he then took what was left of the spear and bonked Sokka on the head a couple of times before Sokka fell down. He preceded to break the now stick in half and throw it in the snow. The boomerang came back and hit Zuko in the back of the head which seemed too make the dog-like creature who was sitting back a little ways and had not made a single noise so far, to start rolling over screaming

     "EE! EEVEE! EE!" That was apparently the creatures way of laughing. Zuko glared it before turning his glare on Sokka, he started to shoot fire at his hands that he was ready to throw at the annoying boy but before he could he was knocked of his feet by a penguin and flew up in the air before hitting the ground face first with his butt in the air. His helmet landed on top and the dog-like creature starting 'laughing' harder. Zuko was now furious and got up, he turned around to see a young bald boy with arrows on his head, hands, and feet. Zuko motioned to his soldiers and they spread out while the dog-like creature stayed where it was, still somewhat chuckling. Zuko go into a fighting stance while his soldiers surrounded the boy. The boy then used a staff to blow snow in all of their faces, Zuko included. When the snow settled the boy spoke.

   "Looking for me?" 

     "Your the air bender?  Your the Avatar?" Zuko asked in disbelief still prepared to fight. The creature behind him had stopped laughing and was now watching with intent, ignoring the voices of two certain someones as they learned the truth about their friend. Zuko and the avatar were circling each other. Zuko started speaking.

   "I've spent years preparing for this encounter. Training, Mediating. Your just a child!" The avatar stopped circling and stood up from his defensive position. 

   "Well your just a teenager." He said. Zuko growled and started to throw fire at the boy, who dodged by spinning his staff to deflect the flames. He had deflected a couple of them before he accidentally stepped in front f the villagers and did it the fire went passed and toward the villagers who screamed in fear and tried to shield themselves.He noticed this and came upon a decision. He deflected the rest of the flames away from him and hit his staff on the ground.

    "If I go with you will you promise to leave everyone alone?" He asked. The dog-like creature bristled at that but Zuko nodded and turned around to leave while a couple solders grabbed Aang and led him to the ship. The small little creature who just watched everything was still bristling and was a little reluctant to get back on the ship. SHE WANTED TO SEE AT LEAST ONE OF THEM HURT! But it looked at the village in a hard stare and climbed the ramp also, followed by a few soldiers. Once they were all on board the ramp lifted up and they were on the move again. Ylva went to her room before transforming back to her human self, She paced around her room for a couple of minutes before going back out to the deck. She was fuming on the inside but instead of showing that she kept her face calm as she walked towards Zuko who was talking to the prisoner. 

      "I suppose you wouldn't know of fathers, being raised by monks." She heard him say before making herself known by stepping to stand next him. As soon as Aang saw her however, he became shocked.

   "Katara? What are you-" He was cut off by a fan up to his neck.

   "Mistake me for her one more time. And I will slice your throat." Ylva told him in a deadly voice. Zuko was shocked a bit for never seeing his adopted sister this deadly but he kept the look of surprise off his face, while Aang's eyes were wide. He stared for a moment before he slowly nodded. 

    "Good." She said but still not taking the fan from his neck.

    "Ylva you can remove the fan now." Zuko said still a bit in shock. Ylva looked at him before turning back to Aang, and standing up straight ,putting her fan away. She backed up and just stared at Aang giving Zuko the spotlight again. Zuko ordered the two soldiers escorting the Avatar to take him to the dungeons. 

    "And take this to my quarters." He said handing the staff to his Uncle, who just passed off to the guard sitting next to him saying 

   "Hey you mind taking this to his quarters for me?" and walking off. Ylva smiled slightly at her uncle and went to her room. She had locked her door and was abut to fire-bend when she heard.

    "THE AVATAR HAS ESCAPED!" She cursed and quickly grabbed her weapons, unlocked her door and ran out into the halls looking or the Avatar.  "If the Avatar escapes then Zuko will be VERY angry. He's been waiting 2 years for this. Just so he can return to that monster and be loved. As much as I don't want to go back and live with that monster, I need Zuko to be happy. So where the spirits are you Avatar?" She thought wildly. 

     She heard a commotion coming from Zuko's room and ran towards it when she got there, Zuko was opening the door and running out. 

      "Where is he!" He asked her. 

    "I don't know you go to the overlook and see if he's trying to fly from there i'll go check the deck." She said before running to the deck. She saw  Aang in mid-flight and was just notching an arrow when Zuko jumped and grabbed a hold of him. They both fell to the deck, and Ylva immediately un-notched her arrow and went to check if Zuko was alright. When she was sure that he was. She helped him up and they both faced the Avatar, who was also up, and got into a bending stance. They were just about to start bending when a huge fluffy flying creature came into view and let out a mighty roar.

    "What is that!" Zuko asked. Ylva looked bewildered and shrugged. 

    "Appa!" Aang exclaimed, becoming distracted. Ylva and Zuko took this chance to attack him, Ylva sent a water whip towards him while Zuko shot fire.  Aang turned around and tried to deflected both of the attacks, knocking him back towards the edge of the ship. Ylva and Zuko attacked a couple of more time before he was standing on the railing of the ship they attacked once more, the fire still not fully hitting him, but the water whip hit it's mark and knocked him into the water.

    "Aang! No!" Ylva whipped her head up and scowled. She grabbed some water an was starting to bend in the direction of the creature but before she could a huge tower of swirling water rose up and came towards the ship. Ylva dropped the water she was holding and  prepared to stop water that the avatar was about to unleash on the ship when the circle of water came. She tried to cut through it but was knocked out instead by how strong it was.

 "Did you see what he just did?" Katara asked Sokka staring at Aang in awe.

    "Now that was some water bending." They saw Aang collapse and steered Appa to land. Katara and Sokka went straight to Aang. 

"Aang are you alright?" 

  "Hey Katara, Hey Sokka. Thanks for coming." He said.

  "Well I couldn't let you have all the glory." Sokka said.

  "I dropped my staff." 

  "Got it." Sokka went to go grab his staff. When he grabbed it, someone else was also holding onto it. Zuko, Sokka started to bonk Zuko in the head with it, causing Zuko to let go and fall down again. 

   "Ha! That's from the Water tribe!" Sokka yelled down to him before turning to run back to Katara and Aang who were boarding Appa. When he reached the he noticed a girl figure lying a little ways away from them. Upon closer look he recognized it as someone from a long time ago.

   "Katara look!" Sokka exclaimed running over to the unconscious Ylva. Katara turned around and gasped.  bunch of old memories came rushing back and  Katara was running over to were Sokka was now trying to pick Ylva up.

   "Oh spirits! its really her! She's alive!" Katara saidlaughing slightly after looking at her twin.Suddenly Ylva's eyes snapped open and she jumped out of Sokka's arms grabbing her fans in the process and getting in a defensive position. She looked at her siblings and scowled.

   "Ylva, calm down it's us, Katara and Sokka. Your siblings." Sokka said trying to calm her down but only succeeding in making her even angry. 

  "Siblings! Ha! Your not my siblings. Nor will you ever be." Ylva told them moving to attack them before she could though a gust of wind knocked her over making her drop her fans and hit her head n the railing of the ship becoming unconscious again. Katara and Sokka looked at each other in sorrow and decided to leave her in case she tried to attack them again and took the chance to run back to Appa. A few more guards had become conscious and was now advancing on the  Avatar and his friends and Katara tried to freeze them by water bending she instead caught her brother who was standing behind her so she turned around and tried again this time more successful. She climbed up onto Appa. 

   "Hurry up Sokka!" She called.

   "I'm just a single guy with a boomerang. I didn't ask for all this flying and magic." Sokka said using his boomerang to get rid of the ice around his feet. He then grabbed Aang's staff again and crawled onto Appa saying, "Yip Yip, yip yip" Then they were off.

Sorry I've been gone for like a loooong time but I came across some writers block and was busy with school when it was still around but now i can update a bit ore regularly I hope.  Anyway to make up for the long wait I've started again with a looong chapter, my treat, but anyway. Yay the reunion has happened! not that it was a happy one but... you know. See ya'll next chap!
