They that are keen on goodness

Their name shall be righteousness

Moral excellence, admirableness

Let such be capable, honest, straightforward

Easy to speak to, gentle and not proud

May all beings be safe and well

I seek gharad, mercy and love

Granted, I am a fool, I do not know

Constantly, I am reminded

There is no superiority of race, dark face

Except by piety and good actions

Taqwa

May all beings be safe and well

May all beings be happy

Trembled, I have with wrath

Al-ma'idah, the table spread with food

Stand out for Allah, Hu Akbar

Let not enmity, nor hatred of others, brothers

Lead you astray from justice

Be just, nearer to piety, propriety

May all beings be safe and well
May all beings be happy.

Sentient beings; spread peace

Feed the faqir, alkthyr min alnaeam

Cultivate a heart that knows no boundaries

And with love for all the world

Reaching above, below all round

Without any barriers, for

A Muslim is one from whose hand

Tongue, others find comfort, atop safety

May all beings be safe and well
May all beings be happy

Love, being, the foundation of all good spiritual practice

We have appointed a law and practice for every one of you

Had God willed, He would have made you a single community

But he wanted to test you, regarding what has come to you

To compete with each other in doing good

May all beings be safe and well
