'I'm running.. The trees are flying by as I pant happily, wind whipping my fur around and I smile seeing your Orange pelt blur by me suddenly I'm falling onto my side searing fangs grip my neck and back paws as I'm being dragged, I whimper for you but you never seem to catch up'

Suddenly I spring up from my sleep, gripping the soft blanket to my chest as if it will protect me. It takes a second but as I look around I recognize the details of My room and release the breath I didn't know I was holding, Sun is streaming in through the tan curtains which reflects off my red wall's. I stretch and fling my feet over the bed my tippy toes touch the fluffy tan carpet and I wiggle them deep in it. After a while of adjusting to being awake I stand up and make my bed, instead of turning on my light I shut The curtains and plug in my Christmas lights which hang above my bed and around each door frame, it gives off a soft glow that I really like almost romantic.. and calming. Pulling open my walk in closet I take out faded sky blue skinny jeans and a dark red tank top, I slip out of my fuzzy pj shorts, the only thing I wear to bed and put on my clothes for the day. I hear everyone downstairs before I even open my bedroom door, I step out of my room and walk over to the light brown wooden railing which really compliments the clean white rug, the thin landing stretches around the third floor in a full square with an opening for stairs, and does not fully connect in the middle leaving a large space to look over and allow you to see The bottom floor, doors are along the wall's.... About twelve rooms, same as the floor above me and below me, the fifth floor has five offices and two rooms... One for the alphas and the other being used as Sam's room, however when Sam takes over his parents rank they will use the second room or it will be a guest room till Sam has kids. Bathrooms are inside everybodys rooms, the first floor is the living room, kitchen and library. I look over the railing and see the pack at the kitchen table, Sam is sitting at the head of the table fully healed from yesterday. I jump barefoot down the long staircase and casually walk over to the table, Sam looks up for a moment and gives me a smirk, my heart beats quick then he looks down to his food again. "Over here!" my friend scarlet calls, I weave around chairs and find a seat next to her, the breakfast buffet was set up by maids it looked all too good to be real.. Like every meal, the wolves who have already shifted prefer their prey over it.... I guess I will understand when I shift. I take a plate and begin filling it, "You slept in today" scarlet giggles I have bacon in my mouth so I just shrug and nod "did you forget?... Today is my shifting" she says in an almost sad tone, I quickly swallow and look over at her "no.. No never" I lied "I was really tired from yesterday I ran around patrolling" I added which wasn't an entire lie, scarlet looked up with a smile now "okay, good!" she returned to her bubbly self. I sighed with relief  'i will have to make it up to her or I will feel guilty' I mentally made a note.
