Chapter 13- Damon
Chapter 13- Damon
"Jenny, I knew you two would hit it off!" Talia giggled. She grabbed Sam's elbow, laying her head on his shoulder. I felt possessive. I'm not complaining about Jennette hugging me. I liked it. She smelled good. Her skin was soft. I assumed coming here we could be public fuck buddies. I licked my lips. Samuel was moving too slow for me. I had to put this in motion, they were in the palm in my hands. Now It's their move. "Well, I came for-" my words were cut when Jennette kissed me. She squirmed when our lips touched, arms around my neck. . I didn't mind at all. All the more reason for them to agree. I had them right in my pocket. I gripped on her ass, she bit my bottom lip hard and not in the sexy way. Her forearms squeezing the back of my neck. She didn't like that. I moved it back to her waist. She released her mouth from mine and backed away.
"Yeah." Jennette was breathless. She had to be.
"Damon, why didn't you tell me?" Samuel wondered.
"We were keeping it a secret. You know how private I am." I snuck a look at Talia and smirked. She looked away to Sam and kissed him with a peck.
"Why didn't you call that you were coming over?" I saw her mouth trying to form a wider smile. More like a grimace. I'm not that bad.
"I wanted to surprise you, sweetheart," I brushed her hair, lingering on her cheek. "I'll be in your room." I sniffed her neck, she smelled amazing.
"Mmm." Jennette hummed, "sweetheart." Scrunching her face, making her wrinkle her nose. She slapped my face lightly. "No need. I'll wait. Take your time. I know what you're up to." My smile dropped, she scrunched her nose and marched off.
"Fiery one, huh?" I wriggled my eyebrows up and down. "Let me tell you what she does with her tongue. Oof." I licked my lips, while staring at Talia. She gave me a hard stare and shook her head. Inside, I was panicking. She knew. Of course she knows, they're best friends.
"I can't believe you." Samuel shook his head, kissing the side of Talia's head, heading to the kitchen.
"Do you want to tell me why I'm pretending to sleep with Jennette?" I whispered low enough so Sam wouldn't hear us.
"Just for the time being, please," Talia pleaded. The fact that I've been inside her a couple days ago and she's still playing this game. But I'll let it slide.
"If we're doing this, we're doing it my way."
"I just have to tell her." She brought her hands together, laced and begging.
"Please. Did I tell you how sexy you look right now when you beg." My tone low, looking at her sexy form up and down. She shivered and sighed, heading to her room.
"You slick son of a bitch, Jennette?" Samuel asked, punching me in the arm.
"Ow! Dude!" I punched him back, he hit way too hard.
"You know I wanted her too!" He said in a hushed tone.
"And you will get your chance. Don't worry. I told Talia. She has to be telling Jennette in the room now."
"Are you sure about this?" Samuel questioned.
"I got this," I said confidently. I picked up my phone when I heard it ring. "Damoon Dallas."
"Hello, you have a phone call from Judy, you bastard!" The automated service voice said. I gritted my teeth. "Would you like to accept?"
"Yes," I answered lowly.
"Who's that?" Sam asked.
"Judy."
"Where the hell is she?" He asked.
"Shh." I held my hand up.
"Damon, I've been trying to reach you."
"Where are you two?"
"I can't say. The phone could be wired. I can't talk for long. That night was crazy. We need to meet." She sounded distressed and in a rush.
"Where?"
"That diner where we met. You know the exact one."
I squinted, "I was high."
"Well, refresh your memory. I only have two minutes." Someone was in the background speaking to her in harsh words. It sounded like Sven. "Look, just get there. Tomorrow at 12. And tell Sam." She disconnected. I sighed, sticking out my tongue.
"What did she say?" Sam asked.
"We have to meet them tomorrow at some diner we first met. I don't remember that shit." I shook my head, scratching my scalp.
Sam gave me a blank look, "you can't remember the ihop near the highway?" he asked flatly.
"That was ihop?" I frowned. I was so loaded, I didn't remember if I wore shoes that day.
"We'll meet them, but we have to come separately. Do you have a ride?"
"I got a ride." I had enough for an uber. I had to sell my car. "It seems like a trap,"
"Or it seems like a way for them to tell us what to do."
"I don't buy it."
"I'm going." The door slammed shut, the girls came out, muttering to themselves. Jennette had her arms over her chest and sighed while rolling her eyes.
"Jenny won't tell me much, but I do understand why she's so tired," Talia said, bumping her elbow with hers.
"My god," Jennette muttered, swinging side to side. "I need something to eat, Damon, are you hungry, lover?" Each word was hesitant and she sounded like she was in pain.
"No, babe. I'll see you later." I kissed her, savoring her taste with our eyes opened. I wiped the saliva from her lips and left. I texted Bennett: they're in.
He responded quickly with one of his hotel addresses. I forwarded it to Talia. I'm making moves, like a businessman. More like chess pieces.

I searched around the diner for Judy's familiar face behind the menu. Where's my french toast? "Where the hell is she?" I took my eyedrops, drop 5 each to reduce the redness and to wake me up. A swig of my coffee, my legs were jittering up and down.
"She'll be here," Sam said in a calm voice, looking through the menu. "They got a waffle combo."
"How can you be so fucking calm?" I scoffed.
"So I don't raise my blood pressure," he answered.
"You and your blood pressure. You weren't thinking of that last night."
"And how do you know that?" Need I remind him of the girl he had bent over while Talia was passed out? She should know the man she's dealing with was scum. The waitress came around with our food. We thanked her.
"Why do you care?"
"I don't," I shook my head.
"You should." A voice next to our booth made us jump. The woman was in a blonde wig and sunglasses. "Samuel. Damon. How are you?"
"Judy?" I squinted.
"Right now it's Samantha." She came and scooted inside. Sam made room for her to enter. THe waitress came back, asked if she wanted anything. "Water. With ice. Thank you." She smiled.
"Where did you get this wig?" Samuel asked, pulling on the strand. "Oh, it's real."
"Of course its fucking real."
"Where have you been? It's been two weeks."
"The hospital." My eyes widened. "But don't worry. Sven has a plan."
"What?" How to bury a body?" I asked in a hushed voice.
"Can you shut the fuck up. Technically, she has a pulse. She's not breathing on her own but she's alive."
"But she was out cold."
"She almost od'd from your drugs."
"I'm not liable for that." I shook my head. That night was fucked up as it was. I was called by them for a deal. Samuel invited me. It was supposed to be in and out, he didn't tell me he would bring Talia. Terry was there, she owed me a favor. Two birds, one stone. I got a chance to fuck some other girls. It was crazy.
"We went in on time before she bled out. Good thing we didn't call the cops."
"The cops said someone died." Samuel made sure he whispered the last word.
"They don't know everything." She handed us the packets, jumped out of the booth and jogged out. I was left stunned, Sam rested his head on his fist. This better be the right amount of money. Wait. What did she mean by that?
