Jason's POV

We had been walking for hours. Little Ty was trudging through the grass. Well, we all were. The sun was setting, and I knew that we needed to make camp.

"Guys, lets stop for the night." I called. "Yeah, good idea. A bacca needs his rest." Jerome mumbled. We built a small hut to rest in, putting down the five beds Mitch had brought.

Ty immediately fell asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. The rest of us sat down on our beds and talked.

We didn't talk about much, just what we would do if we found the Snow Kingdom, and other stuff. One touchy subject was our parents.

I learned that Sky's parents died in a zombie attack, Jerome's parents were killed by scared villagers, and Mitch's parents had abandoned him in the forest, where he met Jerome.

No one knew how Ty's parents died though. He would cry whenever someone mentioned parents, so we didn't nag him about it.

Suddenly, I heard a zombie. "Guys, did you hear that?" I asked. They all nodded, and Sky looked like he was about to faint. "N-no, not zombies...no! RUN,MOMMY! RUN!" He screamed.

He was slipping into a flashback, we could tell. "I'll stay here and watch him." Mitch said. Jerome and I nodded and slipped out the door to investigate.

We quietly closed the door. Not ready for what was about to happen, we turned around.

And were greeted by a horde of a thousand mobs.
