A Couple Of Days Later

This is the day I was dreading the most, it was he day of the court date for Donnrie and Amiyah situation. Aliyah have been a wreak because of this, and I know he he feels because ever since he was in jail after being locked up and given the day of the court date, he have been trying to get her to drop the charges dive he is the father of the baby bit that didn't work. And I I'm being honest, I'm ready for him to go he done hurt enough of people in my life,so it's time for his own medicine.

Me, Shauna surprisingly, Amiyah and Kevin is the witnesses of the trail, and I am scared to go up there because I know they go try to flip the script on me but I'm worried they'll do T to Amiyah worst since Donnrie make it seem it's her fault all of this happened. But I beg to differ, no one told him to go rape her, no one told him to get her pregnant but here we are. Even though I don't condone abortion, bit if Amiyah would've chose to abort the baby I would respect her choice because argue end of the day, she ave to carry this child that she conceived during a traumatic scene. If I'm being honest, she is the strongest I know right now, because she is handling all of his this on her own.

Button up my shirt, I went to the mirror with the tie and start to put it on while looking at the promise ring Donté gave to me, an yet it's still so surreal. I grabbed the black jacket and put it on and I heard Donté grunting in the living room so I walked to see him fighting with the tie.

"Goddamn tie, come on and get on! I do not have time for this shit!" pulling the tie off and throwing it on the couch and put in like a cite little baby face. I laughed and grabbed the tie and turned him around. I wrapped the tie around his neck, tying it into the perfect tie. I could feel him lookin at me,which made me blush a little.

"What? I got something on my face?" rubbing my face to see if have anything on my face, by he shook his head and kissed me on the cheek

"No, I just love looking at you, especially with you having your ring on your finger it shows that I'm here with you and it isn't a dream or illusion. I mean what I say, I promise I won't hurt you best the way I can because we don't know what's go happen in the future but I know I can control what's goes in the present." putting on his jacket while I nodded my head in understanding. He is right, anything can happen in the future, but I'm not go worry about the future I'm go worry about now. Locking the door, we walked to his car since I didn't feel like driving my car, back in up and drove the court house to meet the rest of the crew. A few minutes later, we arrive so see Amiyah in a blue dress, Shauna in a nice turquoise dress that you can see the baby bump, Kevin in a brown suit, Sonny in a Supreme hoodie and black jeans,and Jerome in a T-shirt an blue jeans.
 

Getting out the car after parking it, we walked up stairs and hugged everyone, but dapper Kevin. You can feel the tension with Donté and Kevin, that you can slice it in half. Kevin then spoke up to me and Donté am sure rest of the group.

"Look, I'm sorry everyone especially to you Adonis and Donté. I shouldn't have go in the middle of you all relationship when I know Donté moved on. Donté, I know I can't change the past but I do know I can change the present. Amiyah, I want to apologize to you on my behalf and Donnrie behalf, what he done to is beyond wrong. I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me, all of you." looking at us, and then Amiyah walked to him and slapped the shit out of him, but the she hugged him to let him know she forgive him.

"Sorry, the slap was for his behalf, I don't wan no apology from him, an I don't want you to apologize for his actions. Apologies are only should come from which you had part in,even though you didn't know, you still heart others around me. And you Shauna, I forgive you. We may have our differences, but at the end of the day we are about to be mother's and we don't need all that beef or drama." hugging her while she cried in Amiyah shoulder. After the crying and talking we walked inside into this warzone that's gonna happen.

"I would like to call my first witnesses to the stand, Amiyah." seeing Amiyah walk to the stand, I was a bit nervous because my testimony wasn't really helping and neither was Kevin and Shauna because the defense ate him uo and blamed him for not doing something about when he heard about it, but Kevin told her that he didn't know about it at the moment until he put together at the moment. They feel like my testimony wasn't important because of the fact that I dated him, they think I knew about it And lastly, Shauna testimony they feel that it was just plainly just not important. Now, it'd only up to Amiyah now.

"Hello Ms.Amiyah, I'm going to skip to the discussion of the situation. Now, from what we learned is that Mr. Donnrie feeling for emotionally,but you did not feel the same for him. Now the question everyone wants to know is, why did you stay friends with someone who have feelings for you?" seeing everyone and the jurors wait patiently.

"Well, me and Donnrie was friends for a longtime, to he point where we was basically family. When he told me he had feeling for me, it was during the time me my boyfriend was together. I stayed friends with him because we was friends before any of this." the defense nodded her head

"Okay if that is the case, why didn't you think about the fact that Mr. Donnrie was the one who rape you, I mean he basically told he liked you so why didn't you just think your little pretty head that he was the one who rape me. And why did you wait to so long to finally go to the police about it? To me, I think you liked it and loved it, all in you and ranging inside you-"

"Objection, the defense is going out of line with the victim Your Honor" hearing the words come out the defense mouth disgusted me, how can someone say that type of shit to someone who have witnessed and endured a traumatic experience. And Donnrie is over there smirking.

"Ms. Amiyah, please answer the best way you can, and if Ms.Smith if you try that again I will put on 48 hour lock up." hearing Amiyah sniffling at the question, she wiped her eye and looked up and spoke

"Let me tell you something you white bitch, do you know how it feel to have a penis ramming up inside you in the middle of the night. Then to find out that he got you pregnant,then find out it was your friend? Do you? No you don't. I had to accept this child for what it is. Yes, I could've abort it but I chose not to because the baby didn't ask for this. I've had to accept it and look into the future. My life was a whole turmoil of events. When you decide the choice you make for him, think of this. I was token away from my womanhood. I was saving myself for marriage. He decided to do what he did out of spite not love." wiping her eyes, he got up when the judge told her to stand down, she walked away to the doors while the judge have the jurors give them time to decide. We got up and walked to Amiyah who was crying in Sonny shoulder.

"Yes, we find the defendant..........guilty" hearing the group and most of everyone sigh and shout, Donnrie family just stayed quiet. We looked for see Donnrie look pissed off but it didn't scare us.

"I hereby, give you 10 years in the California Penatairy. With no parole, that is my answer" slamming the have while he screamed and shouted. It's over. Now she can move on.

Thank God This is Over, Now We Can Move on....
